Another sign of Democratic division

Hillary...it is time to return to the one job you really were qualified for on 'day one'... playing second fiddle to Charles Schumer as a Senator from New York.

Your campaign tactics have failed.

Your message seems to be driven by lies, needless attacks and misstatements.

Your smug front runner attitude early in your campaign turned off enough Democrats to cost you the nomination.

Your arrogance since falling from front runner status has made for a embarassing primary which is as divisive as it is nasty.

Time for you to return to the Sentae and fade from the scene.

Actions Speak Better than Words

Before the negative press regarding Mr. Wright, Mr Obama had on numerous occasions declared Mr. Wright as his mentor and spiritual teacher for the past 20 years and even went so far as to include Mr. Wright in his election staff, these are the actions of Mr. Obama. When the press found out about the Hitleresque personality of Mr. Wright, Mr. Obama’s staff writers immediately created a rebuttal of hyperbole that amazingly some people actually believed.

But regardless what Mr. Obama and his staff reply, Mr. Obama cannot retract his clear public proclamation that Mr. Wright has been mentor and spiritual teacher for over 20 YEARS. And that up to recent negative press, Mr. Wright was on Mr. Obama’s Spiritual Advisor Committee campaign team. Mr. Obama cannot make excuses regarding this or deny it. And to downplay the violent rhetoric of Mr. Wright is like trying to make excuses for Hitler. Hitler and Mr. Wright both convey hateful and paranoid messages that should shivers through the average American. Never would I expect to see in my lifetime a man of such evil taking the pulpit on National Television and professing extreme hate and implied violence that has direct implications for almost every white, Jew, non-Christian, Christians of other faiths, government officials, peoples from other countries and so on. Didn’t Hitler do this too?

If you make the choice to listen and learn from a so called spiritual mentor every week over 20 years, do you expect me or any other rational being to believe that you wouldn’t be or want to be influenced by their ideas? And what does that say of your personal integrity if you chose American hating Mr. Wright as your mentor in life?

Action is the real measure of a person, not their words. We know who Mr. Obama is by his life and choices, not the words he spins. And we can only imagine the amount of hatred Mr. Obama will unleash once he achieves ultimate power. Uh-Oh!

And also consider recent announcement that the chief of the firm involved in the State Department’s passport breach is one of Obama’s adviser. (And why is this not being discussed?) And that Obama has been caught lying about Rezko, regarding the amount of money Rezko gave him, and that Obama still hasn’t come clean about his Rezko land deal. Or further, how Michelle Obama makes a phenomenal $317.000 a month at a hospital in Chicago that is famous for turning away the poor, especially the black poor and Michelle Obama’s separatist-racist connection to Farrakhan and Chicago's Trinity United Church trumpeting Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama as the second coming of the messiah.
And today, the criminal indictment of Mr. Obama’s super delegate the governor of Puerto Rico.

If Obama were to become president, what would stop Mr. Obama from appointing Mr. Wright to his cabinet? And after Mr. Wright’s appointment, if anyone complained no doubt they would be called racist. And it seems as if this strategy - that it is racist to criticize a black man - is already in effect as Mr. Obama can do anything corrupt with minimal impunity by the public or the press.

But if Hillary so much as sneezes, she is taken through the laundry and hung out to dry and then beaten some more. Such an obvious bias treatment towards Mr. Obama because of his race is racial discrimination. And I believe another reason why Mrs. Clinton is unfairly criticized to such an extreme is because a handful of powerful men in the media can’t stand the idea of a woman for president – likely a libido thing.

We should have as our country’s leader someone with wisdom and knowledge, whose goal is the selfless betterment of the world. We should not elect someone with a personal agenda for personal power or select them because of the fashionably of their race or the preference for a gender.

With all the red lights in Mr. Obama’s resume, and all the hyperbole that he spins that keeps us from knowing the real Mr. Obama, are you sure this is the person best to lead our country? Should we gamble away the American future to a man who associates with and is taught by men who hate this country and its people?

If Obama would back off the very negative, personal and very sexist campaign maybe he wouldn't be alienating so many Clinton supporters. We get really tired of all the names (racist, evil, monster, McCarthy, etc...) when the gaps start to close.

differences between "her' and Obama.... CORRECTION

For some time I have been appalled at the horrible grammar displayed by writers on web sites. This piece contains another example of this.

"She said that when a primary is vigorous, supporters get intense, but the differences between SHE and Obama "pale in comparison" to those between Democrats and McCain."

Obama is CORRUPT, a LIAR, and his slogan of change an ILLUSION.

1) CORRUPT: A houseowner wants to sell both a house and adjoining land. Obama can afford to buy only the house. No problem, the criminal Rezko to the rescue. Rezko pays full price for the land, whereas Obama gets a discount of $300,000 on the house. Nice to have criminal friends like this!!! (ref ABC News)

2) LIAR: Obama claims he did not know about Wright's America-hating (God damn America) and racist views till it was revealed in the mainstream media in March 2008. Obama attended Wright's church for 20 years, was married by Wright, had his children baptized by Wright, donated over $20,000 to Wright's church and named his book "Audacity of Hope" after one of Wright's sermons. You really believe after 20 years and all this he did not know?

3) ILLUSION: Exelon Corporation had not disclosed radioactive leaks at one of its nuclear plants in Illinois. Obama, a senator for Illinois introduces a bill to make disclosures mandatory. Seems like Exelon doesn't like it. Each draft of the new bill by Obama goes more and more towards Exelon till disclosures end up being "voluntary". What gives? How about $250,000+ donations by Exelon!!! Obama is not change, he is WASHINGTON BUSINESS AS USUAL. (ref NYT)

People need to realize that Hillary has been fighting for them all along. All the way back to 1993 when she tried to introduce universal health care.

RicRoe: are you one of those Democrats who will refuse to vote for the Democratic candidate unless it's your favorite (clearly Obama in your case)? If you and your equivalents in the Hillary camp stick to your guns, then we're guaranteed to lose in November no matter which way the nomination goes. This is why they say the Democrats' worst enemy is themselves. Meanwhile the Republicans are just sitting on the sidelines laughing their butts off. (Really, they are -- just try watching Fox News report on the Obama/Hillary fight... their eyes are teary with joy.)

I'm one of those Democrats who's more interested in getting the Republicans out of power. I don't really care whether Obama or Hillary gets the nomination -- their policy differences are negligible compared to McCain (aka Bush the Sequel). Keep your eye on the big picture, man. We've got enough problems already with Naderites who've somehow convinced themselves that if they can't get a "real" environmentalist in the White house, then they certainly won't settle for any second-rate environmentalist (you know, like Al Gore.)

IF Obama supporters really believe superdelegates should reflect the will of the people, then why didn't the Obama supporters (i.e., the Obama Campaign) support the re-votes in MI and Fl? It wasn't the individual voters that broke the rules, it was the Party. The people shouldn't be punished by the Party. Secondly, the superdelegates were created to decide just such a deadlock. Yes, I voted for Hillary, but I would be very happy if either Hillary or Obama wins. I do not appreciate people expecting her to throw in the towel and villifying her and her family for not quitting. It ain't over till it's over. This is America.

Anyone who has read Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope" knows that one of the reasons he decided to join the church heded by Rev. Wright was that it did NOT require that he entertain all of the same views held by its pastor. He could disagree with as many as he chose and still want to be a member of that church because of the good that it was doing for the poor and sick people who had no health insurance. The church was in many ways providing he services he had been working for in the community before he joined it.

You may want to read about other religious leaders, e.g. a Rabbi in NYC, with whom their congregations frequently disagree but admire for their good actions.

Unlike the Left (Dems. Etc) and most of the the rest of the world GOP isn't afraid of these towel headed muslim terrorists (redundant). America is much more powerful than them and we can whip them bad just like the we did to the supposedly tough Taliban and Saddam & Co. If we want to we can wipe those muslims of the map; no doubt. OBAMA IS UNELECTABLE. A recent poll suggests that almost 30 percent of Hillary Clinton voters will vote for McCain if Obama is the nominee. Add it up; McCain gets almost all of the Republicans and almost 30 percent of the Democrats. Thank you Obama, and your ruthless, deceptive and race-card playing tactics, for helping elect the John McCain as President of the United States.

OBAMA IS UNELECTABLE and he is a liar. He was on The View back tracking what he said about Wright, he was reiterating Hillary's plan to to have her military advisers draw up a plan for a safe withdrawal from Iraq and he copies her economic speech. What a fraud!

I think Hillary supporters are so upset that both the media and the so called bigwigs in the Dem party want to usurp the primary process. The Obama supporters have been so mean and vulgar in their blogs that the Hillary supporters were forced to speak out and defend her.

Obam has done more to divide the party, yet he is the one complaining that Hillary is divisive. I beg the remaining states to ignore all the hype to force Hillary out and think what is important for this nation. He is not the right black candidate.
He and his wife are racists and they were influenced by Rev Wright and his Church. You can't be President of the United States and listen to hate speech. And let me tell you, our enemies will use it against us.

I am a Florida voter, you know, one of those "punished" by the Democratic National Committee for having our primary early. But in reality I personally had nothing to do with the change in date. I'm just a lone voter. Punishment of a voter for something he had no control of is really stupid. Now I hear the DNC is whining about voters going to McCain in November if their choice for president is not the choice of the DNC. So far I have only seen comments about the total national percentage of voters who will switch parties but I would love to see a breakdown of Florida voters showing the percentage of Florida Democrats who will make the switch to McCain because of resentment over their "punishment". Perhaps punishment is a two way street. Punishment of individual voters by their own Party? The DNC will be lucky if they don't permanantly lose substantial members of their Florida Democratic base. Now that will really be punishment.
