The Supreme Court of Canada has agreed to hear arguments about the legality of the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo, where Canadian Omar Khadr is being held. The high court ruled yesterday that it could consider submissions on whether Guantanamo violates international law, dismissing the federal government's objections that the Canadian courts were not the place to examine the actions of the United States.

Rail stimulus funds to bypass Northeast
The railroad tracks from Boston to Washington - the busiest rail artery in the nation, and one that also carries America’s only high-speed train, the Acela - have been virtually shut out of $8 billion worth of federal stimulus money set aside for high-speed rail projects because of a strict environmental review required by the Obama administration. And how does the Globe justify posting these 3 irrelevant comments- how is related to the article?
This may open up a can of worms for other countries who don't think it's legal.
Clinton is desparate, period. She was overconfidant and failed to prepare for a real challenge to her candidacy. In a way she has no choice---play the 'dirty game' that has worked so well for the republicans, or lose. I would still supprt her over any Republican 'psychotic' but ultimately Senator Obama by both word and deed has shown he is the one to lead America out of its historical political and social 'morass'. The American people, free from messages of abject fear will make the right choice in the voting booth both in the primary and in November.
Senator Obama is the leader of choice for "The Second American Revolution".
