Clinton does a turn on "Daily Show"
If this whole presidential thing doesn't pan out, maybe Hillary Clinton has a future as late-night comedienne. Or maybe not.
After a cameo appearance during the opening sketch on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" over the weekend, in which Burlington-born Boston College alum Amy Poehler impersonated her cackle, Clinton appeared Monday night on the Indecision 2008 segment of the "Daily Show" on Comedy Central.
Host Jon Stewart asked Clinton why, when the election is largely about judgment, she took time out the night before her political life is at stake in Ohio and Texas to be made fun of on national TV.
"As a host, I'm delighted," Stewart said, "as a citizen, frightened."
"It is pretty pathetic," replied Clinton, laughing along with the studio audience while appearing via satellite from Austin, Texas.
From there, her appearance devolved into rather un-funny paraphrases of her stump speeches. She did win applause when she vowed to be the champion for all Americans, saying, "What a novel idea."

Clinton has already insulted the leader of another country - Putn to be exact. Why would a presidential "candidate" be insulting the heads of state of the very countries they will be in very serious "red phone" type conversations with. Ann all the mocking and scoffing the Clinton do and some of the comments have ther signatre of mocking and scofing the values of others. Scarey for us and shame, shame on them (they don't know what that means). Yes Mr. Obama has dignity, thoughtful considerations, aqnd values that the NONscoffers hold dear and true. For instance, he revealed his tax returns when requested to do so long ago. But OH No not the Clintons with her slight-of-mouth sly yammerings of why she couldn't. Maybe instead of answering the "red phone" in her scare all those nice people ad she should have been producing her tax returns. Same O, same O. In my opinion Raid and penicilin will not rid them of whatever their hidden agenda is and I think we all know it.
Hillary will be gone very soon. All hail President Obama
Sorry Miss Clarity:
Your candidate hasn't show much Clarity in matters that concern voters lately. His voting record while in the State Senate was horrible. "Present" doesn't cut it when you are faced with hugh problems. Neither does having dealings with a man known by the people in Chicago to be a criminal show that he is Presidential material. His record in his own church of 20 years shows that his pastor feels Louis Farrakhan is a great man. I don't think Jewish people and caucasion people share his sentiments. His own wife only feels that now is the first time in her life she is proud to be an American. I think compared with other Black Americans she has had it pretty good. Finally his campaign is telling Canada one thing about Nafta and he is telling people another or more accurately he is not telling people about what he truly feels on the subject.
Hillary has been the subject of Biased Media and should she win I think you will see a lot more come out (finally) about Senator Barack Obama.
I would rather know that Hillary could ask the advise of someone who handled this country's economy for 8 years leaving it in great shape; rather than trust someone who just like George Bush is experiencing on the job training.
Obama is going to lose... sorry but that is the truth. There is no there... there. Smoke & mirrors and we will find out things about him that disappoint and dismay.
