Clinton, Obama ahead of McCain in new poll
In the category of it depends on what poll you want to believe, comes this:
A new USA Today/Gallup survey out today suggests that both Democratic presidential hopefuls would defeat Republican John McCain if the election were held today -- but says that Hillary Clinton would fare better than Barack Obama.
Clinton holds a 51 percent to 46 percent edge over McCain -- just outside the poll's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. Obama is in a statistical tie with McCain 49 percent to 47 percent, according to the survey, conducted Friday through Sunday. Obama has held the edge over Clinton in most recent hypothetical match-ups.
McCain led Clinton and Obama in the previous USA Today/Gallup survey, completed in late February. A Zogby poll released over the weekend, however, showed McCain still ahead of both Democrats.

It's difficult for me to imagine people voting another Republican administration into the Whitehouse given the damage this current administration has inflicted upon our country !!
WE NEED A INTELLIGENT CLINTON TO CLEAN UP THE MESS LEFT BY PRES BUSH. You really saw Obama weakness and Clinton's power today. He could barely answer the reporters' with regards to whom he spoke with today regarding the economy. Clinton had already made several top official phones calls to discuss the issue. She has plans not rhetoric. I guess he has not had a briefing yet.
Hillary is the most qualified and the best candidate for president.
She is a good Christian, loves her country, no hidden complex within herself but only willingness to give what God has blessed her and will work hard to solve the economy, the security, the environment problems this country is seriously facing now.
Obamas association with Rev Wright should have a strong influence on him and Michelle. I cant believe that he or Michelle never hear Rev. Wright racist and inciting sermons.
Don't make us stupid Obama!
McCain will be the next president.....bet on it
OUR NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES WILL BE HILLARY CLINTON!
Hillary helped endorse this war. She collected more special interest money than any other candidate.
Hillary's inflated stories as to her experience have been comical. The Irish called her claims of involvement in the peace process "silly".
She has been McCain's biggest supporter and has weakened Democrats and cheapened the party. As a woman she has been embarrassing.
I seriously doubt Americans could endure more Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton scandals, corruption and division that have been so toxic for our country.
Tell me where in the world you get the idea that Hillary Clinton is a good Christian - she is devious, manipulative, and sold her soul to the devil (bill clinton) to attain her political goals.
Politics in God's name is the biggest scam. If you can seem righteous, then you seem like you can never be wrong. It's nothing but a pitch to the people who vote but don't pay attention to the issues at a logical level. Nobody is always right, least of all a minister. Government is about money, how it's distributed for the benefit of the people, and where it comes from. If that's too mundane for some, they shouldn't be voting.
Hillary .....?????
Of course you won't be a president. Why? I couldn't be the first man ....
When I was a president, you were the first lady.
But if you were a president? .........
Florida and Michigan politicians moved the primaries in their states. The DNC decided alone not to seat the delegates of these states. But Florida and Michigan democrat primary voters did nothing wrong. They do not deserve to be deprived of their votes.
Most democrats are energized by the primaries in 2007, and they have very strong opinions about who their nominee should be. I guess it is true from Michigan and Florida democrats too. They will be upset if their votes do not count.
If we do not allow them to express their views, beware of how they will pay us back in September: by voting republican or staying home...
All democrats should have one priority: how to get a democratic president elected in September. Stop the fight and allow the votes to take place. A decision will be made one way or the other, and accepted by all.
Yeah, the peace and prosperity we endured during the Clinton years was difficult. Would sure be hard to deal with that.
Hilary?.....
She couldnt even provide a decent answer regarding the problem on American healthcare..
much more over on the issue of retaining military forces in Iraq..
I'd vote for Obama^_^
My full support goes to Hillary Clinton. Barack Obama is inspiring but like other people have said before me, what I hear from him I can hear from church. We need a leader with a real political and financial plan for this country. Idealistic speeches are all very well for the moment, but not for four years as president. Mr. Obama has not been specific or comprehensive about tackling the state of education and welfare (especially for children). With him there is always a lot of discussion about the problems but almost none of a real, concrete solution. I am sorry, no matter how poetic he might be in rhetoric we need plain and boring solutions which involves a plan including financial and legislative steps. We simply can't afford a president that takes all sides but makes no decisions. Look at this most recent event with Rev. Wright. I do not consider the Reverend's speeches to be a reflection on Mr. Obama but I consider his responses to be so. He should remember first that blacks were/are not the only victims of racism. Look at Latinos and Asians. I belong to the latter category. We were victimized by Americans not just in the USA but in our native countries. Maybe we weren't labeled slaves but my people were made into sacrificable workers or prostitutes and were often treated like animals. Despite this we do not preach that killing thousands of American civilians (of all races) in 9/11 was justifiable. Obama's response has been to condemn the speech but not the man. If that's how he goes then perhaps we should commend his own lyrical words but not believe that they afford any reflection of him. And without his words, he does not have much left.
I support Hillary Clinton for her experience, her intelligence and her plans for the nation. I support her for her good political record. I also support her for because she changed positions about Iraq and admitted to it (Mr. Obama, politicians who change sides, especially if they are one of the first to do so, should be heard). I support her because she now has the most comprehensive plan to end that war responsibly. I support her because she is the most qualified candidate we have now.
the last people we need in office is Hillary or Obama! please! if we vote them in were doomed! and thats not a joke. Hillary the rediculous feminist cant stick to what she says without changing her mind the next minute...we don't need another Clinton screwing this up. she cant even keep her marriage together...and yes that does matter because all of your actions reflect and represent the country. Obama is a complete fake. all he can do is talk. his plans look good ideally but in reality they will not work. if we vote one of them in the country is screwed. its the truth.
just because McCain's a Republican like Bush doesn't mean he isn't a perfectly qualified candidate. the only democrat i would have even considered voting for would be Edwards and he's out and even if he was in NO.
McCain all the way!!!
!!!
If any one in American votes for a man that keeps Florida and Michigan democrats from voting needs to think what will the next election look like? Don't you see this was an organized setup and if successful it will come again. Think people.
