Jack Nicholson ad for Clinton gets buzz
Most celebrity endorsers just issue a statement or show up at a rally.
But if you're Jack Nicholson, you create your own ad for Hillary Clinton, interspersing scenes from some of your most famous movie roles with praise for Clinton, and put it on YouTube, where it has been viewed more than 1 million times since its release Friday.
After Nicholson's character in "Five Easy Pieces" says, "Ok, I'll make it as easy for you as I can," text appears on the screen: "We need Hillary Clinton as our next President."
The ad also features clips from, among other flicks, "Batman" and "Chinatown." And it ends with a scene from "A Few Good Men," where Nicholson's hard-bitten Marine colonel declares, "There's nothing on this earth sexier -- believe me gentleman -- than a woman that you have to salute in the morning."

Good job, Jack! I loved it!
Its interesting to note that Hillary is picking back up on her campaign. The Obama craze is slowing down a bit, but not enough. Go to hillaryclinton.com and call some potential voters for her in Texas and Ohio. There is also a way to send her letters to encourage her. This is a god idea, she's getting so tired and she just continues to fight for us!
Thanks Hillary!
Sharon Jenson
yeah, and I wouldn't mind saluting her myself....
Hey Jack you and Bill have the same morals, Both are disgraceful and insult.
to any and all intelligent woman. I have enjoyed your movies, but once again
I pray your got Hillary to pay you well, for making an idoit of yourself.
Go Jack! Go Go Hillary!!! You are the best thing this
country could have now! Please...a vote for Hillary is
a vote for change and freedom once again! We can
do it by our votes and help!
Go Hillary! Go Jack!
We all love you both!
Cindy--stop being such a jaded woman. Get over yourself.
I'ts so refreshing to see a slow down of theobamania syndrome american is suffering. JN is a cool actor and so glad he endorsed the best of the bunch. Hope TX , OH, VT and RI see what smart people love about Hillary. She's the one with the substance. Politics without Hillary will be not as mentally stimulating. Obama is all glitter but Hillary is pure gold.
Jack, I hope that this is As 'Good as It Gets'. We don't need another dried in the wood corprate Clinton in the White House.
Jack Nicholson may be a "giant" actor ; but, he is a "pigmy" thinker !

Jack Nicholson with Rob Reiner did great with their message while also entertaining us.
And anyone who is a Nicholson fan can fill in the remaining part of the message with the rest of the dialogue... which just makes it really really funny.
No idiots there... and I think they are reminding everyone that oldies and boomers are still relevant.
GREAT AD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish it had come out earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Jack, and Best of luck Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!We need it and we need you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also like the Jack versus Tina ad. It shows Hillary as a person. It is a must view. Hillary I always knew that you are a fighter. It is woman's history month. Now fly high Hillary and go all the way. Massachuetts is behind you even if our 2 Senators are not!!!!!! Show them what a determined woman can do when she is in the oval office. This is your chance to help more people in our great nation. We have all been waiting for you. And oh the "True" ad is superb!
way to go, jack. that was great! i have always admired you for your acting skills but now you have just proven to all of us your intelligence and courage in endorsing HILLARY so openly.
Great ad!! It's entertaining and uplifting. Hillary needs more high profile people showing support for her. She also needs more positive news reporting and ads like this one would certainly help. Everyone loves Jack.
Right on Jack! Go Hillary! Civil Rights activists can tell the truth from pretty speeches so Hillary has my support!
I'm deeply saddened that he supports her...I can't stand that woman...
Um, Cindy, it's apparent that you did not benefit from no child left behind...your command of the English language is disgraceful.
I like this one better:

Jack Nicholson is having a very good month with the movies and that ad! I think it only helps Hillary..... cause as Nicholson says in "A Few Good Men" (to the Obama people) "You cant handle the truth!"
It would have been more appropriate to feature "One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest" as a more realistic reference and no statement would have been necessary. I'm Miss Clarity and I approve this statement.
It's Obama supporters like Cindy Bremer #3 that will keep me from ever voting for Obama. She shows so much hate and bitterness. I can see her sitting by her bubbling cauldron. She should enjoy Jack Nicholson's fantastic exhibition of why he is the world's biggest movie star.
Hey Jack, you've got some nerves sticking up for Hillary. Way to go. Great to see that there are some men like you willing to stick out their necks for an intelligent woman like Hillary. You know that you will get a lot of insults thrown at you, but don't pay that any attention. Barack is a rock star, so it's great when a star like you speak out on behalf of Hillary. Great job with the video.

Behind the Jack Nicholson endorsement...
Even my husband who is a McCain supporter loved this ad.
It's about time the Obamania was stopped short.
He stands for nothing....
Great going Jack
I think Jack is just tired of "taking cold showers" and maybe he wants what Bill got in the oval office. If you are going to use clips from a movie to support a candidate, you shouldn't use one that are followed up by lines about "having to continue taking cold showers until they elect some gal president" and if you don't know what he is waiting for from a "superior officer" them I recommend you check out the lunch scene of that movie on You Tube for the next couple lines after his sexier /salute line. But hey, good luck Jack
