Obama, Clinton seek to frame the race ahead
It took Barack Obama two contests -- the Wyoming caucuses on Saturday and yesterday's Mississippi primary -- to regain the handful of delegates he lost to Hillary Clinton when she beat him in Ohio, Rhode Island, and the Texas primary on March 4. Obama's campaign this morning said it now holds a pledged delegate lead of 161.
But as Obama and Clinton look toward Pennsylvania's primary on April 22, their campaigns are increasingly consumed by how to resolve the impasse over Michigan and Florida, whose delegates the Democratic National Committee stripped after the two states held January primaries against party rules.
The Clinton campaign, believing Michigan and Florida are favorable to their candidate -- indeed, it may be her only chance to catch Obama in the delegate race -- want one of two things: for the January results to count, or for there to be a new primary at some later date.
"I don’t see any other solutions that are fair and honor the commitment that two and a half million voters made in the Democratic primaries in those two states," Clinton told the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce today, according to her campaign, adding, "We have a basic obligation to make sure that every vote in America counts."
The Obama campaign says it will not accept the January results, because Obama was not on the ballot in Michigan and did not campaign in Florida. His aides have signaled that they prefer an allocation of the delegates based on some other formula.
On a conference call with reporters this morning, Obama's campaign manager, David Plouffe, expressed deep reservations about a plan floated in Florida for a vote-by-mail primary. Plouffe said it took Oregon years to perfect a mail-vote system, and it's unlikely Florida could pull off such a contest on such short notice.
Plouffe was noncommittal about what solution they would accept. "We will watch very carefully to see what kind of remedies are floated," he said. Plouffe criticized the Clinton campaign's approach to resolving the dispute as "heads we win, tails you lose."
Plouffe, in a bit of expectations-setting, also downplayed the importance of Pennsylvania, where polls show Clinton with a wide lead. "We don’t cherry pick states," he said. "We view this as a whole body of states and a whole body of delegates."
And he was critical of the Clinton campaign for effectively writing off states such as North and South Carolina for the general election. "What we have to do as a party is have a nominee that puts a large number of states in play," Plouffe said.

HITLER HILLARY AND GERALDINE MOUSSILINI ARE RACIST AND THEY ARE GUILTY OF USING RACIST TACTICS..
GERALIDINE HAS A HISTORY OF MAKING RACIST STATEMENTS:
A Ferraro flashback
"If Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race," she said.
Really. The cite is an April 15, 1988 Washington Post story (byline: Howard Kurtz), available only on Nexis.
Here's the full context:
Placid of demeanor but pointed in his rhetoric, Jackson struck out repeatedly today against those who suggest his race has been an asset in the campaign. President Reagan suggested Tuesday that people don't ask Jackson tough questions because of his race. And former representative Geraldine A. Ferraro (D-N.Y.) said Wednesday that because of his "radical" views, "if Jesse Jackson were not black, he wouldn't be in the race."
Asked about this at a campaign stop in Buffalo, Jackson at first seemed ready to pounce fiercely on his critics. But then he stopped, took a breath, and said quietly, "Millions of Americans have a point of view different from" Ferraro's.
Discussing the same point in Washington, Jackson said, "We campaigned across the South . . . without a single catcall or boo. It was not until we got North to New York that we began to hear this from Koch, President Reagan and then Mrs. Ferraro . . . . Some people are making hysteria while I'm making history."
The Texas Secretary of State will release the official results of the Democratic primary on March 29th. But if initial estimates hold, Barack Obama will beat Hillary Clinton in the race for delegates. CNN confirms what others have been seeing for days. While Clinton won the state's popular vote, Obama racked up more caucus support, so that, now that the dust is settling, the Lone Star state's delegate total reads:
Obama is the big win in Texas
Obama: 61 delegates from the popular vote + 38 delegates from caucuses = 99 delegates.
Clinton: 65 delegates from the popular vote + 29 delegates from Caucuses = 94 delegates.
So news people can now stop saying "two big wins in Ohio and Texas." Big win in Ohio, sure, but not Texas. Yes, Clinton could still pull it out, but that seems
increasingly unlikely.
Thank you
Gil Santos
I love it, "every vote in America count..." yet, if she were to be elected would the 600,000 registered voters in Wash, DC - regular joe's not politico's - get a vote at all in congress (DC voters have no voting representation, and in case of ties... DC votes for president are thrown out)! NO! It only matters when it impacts each individual politician directly, who's vote counts.
CNN, please post this. –Let's get real. If we want to look at facts, let's look at the U.S. Census. According to 2005 numbers, African-Americans make up 13.4% of the total U.S. population. That is a fact. Obviously, that number in any one state may be higher, or lower. However, overall, a candidate cannot win with just 13.4% of the vote (and not all African-Americans will vote for Obama, or necessarily vote at all, just as with white women).
So, let's get real. This pseudo-logic may be appealing, and I have no doubt there is still sexism in media, just as there is racism, even "unintentional" racism. But the reality is — no candidate, black, white, or green can win the nomination with only 13.4% of the vote. The majority of states have voted, and Obama is in the lead. He is a real candidate, with real substance. Disagree with his positions, but don't demean the race with phoney logic.
I think Barack Obama need to be it clinton because she is a female and she has mood swings.
Hillary Clinton has lost. She is still dreaming of winning. She cannot come to grips with reality. The game is over. If I were Clinton, I would concede and try to beg for number 2 ticket. That is the best she can hope for.
Imagine if Obama was currently favored to win in Florida and Michigan? The Clintons would be shouting, "No rule bending!" "You cannot say this and do that!" But because she wants to improve her chances of winning -- the rules are going to be bend for her! That's the Democratic Party without rules! That's why they lose winnable elections!!
I think Barack Obama need to be it clinton because she is a female and she has mood swings.
Actually, after the Texas caucus, Obama came out with more delegates than Hillary in that state. So, in actuality he won Texas.
With Barack Hussein Obama we have a Bright Future. His New Ideas will bring new Will to the Spirit of the American people. And Change - don't forget Change. Yes, it's time we Changed Washington. Yes. He will manage all of our problems: health care, Iran, Iraq, the recession, gas-guzzlers, global warming, and More with his New Ideas. New Ideas, which will bring a Bright Future. Going to vote for Clinton? Just think of BHO's New Ideas, and get excited by the Bright Future he promises. Trust in him and his Bright Future. Yes, and his New Ideas. I'm sure he has them, even though he hasn't brought them up. Golly, yes. Oh - and don't forget Change.
Nobody cares what's fair. This issue is what's acceptable to the campaigns and the state and national commitees. They each have their own interests.
Obviously, the only solution with a chance is a revote.
This solution also has the added quality of being fair.
Ms Ferraro:
Just shut your mouth and let us voters HOPE for a better world ... and remember that we were happy to support YOU because you were a WOMAN. But now I have lost respect for you beacuse of your "mouthiness." I will NOT, though, fail to continue to pray for your good/better health. We all have need of many prayers.
Does anyone else think this election year is amazingly similar to the final season of West Wing? I hope it does come down to the convention and more then 1 round of votes.
How do you even mention that January results for Michigan and Florida count? Following the rule Obama didn't put his name on the ballot in Michigan. Clinton put her name on claiming it won't matter since delegates won't be counted. As we have seen in other states, Obama does well given time to campaign. Even in Texas and Ohio he managed erase Clinton's lead not to mention all the other staes where he was trailing by double digits.
i think that clinton would be a grate president. since her husband ran the white house once an know's what she wants to do and how to do it. she wants to bring the soliders home an i really dont think that the u.s. is ready for a black president i am sorry an not trying to be racist but i think it is time to have a woman president.
I hope that Mrs Clinton will get the chrism of the democrats. She has a plan about how to be the president and she will help in matters of health insurance and the making of new job positions. Just because Mr Obama is black and therefore a minority that doesn't mean that he can compete with Mrs Clinton. Mr Obama came from nowhere and he has no stigma, no plans, no background. Mrs Clinton is hard working and she has a vision. Can you imagine anything better? Mrs Clinton is as good as it gets.
Florida's results should stand. If anything Obama had the advantage in that state because his ads were indeed aired in Florida whereas Clinton's were not. But for the sake of argument, go ahead do another primary. I predict that Clinton would harness even more votes than she had before. Obama objects to anything that includes Florida because he smells defeat. Well, I got news for him, it will be tenfold in the General Election should he get that far. You can't win without Florida and Michigan, Senator.
Hillary claims the Florida and Michigan votes were fair and that the delegates should be seated. What an incredibly disingenuous, self-serving thing to say! She was the only democrat on the ballot in Michigan and Obama didn't campaign in Florida.
While it's undeniable that not having real primaries in Florida and Michigan hurt Clinton, those states flouted Democratic party rules, presumably so their results could be more influential in the primary race outcome by being early. When my children break the rules, there are consequences. What are the consequence for FL and MI? In this case it feels like the clamoring for a do-over is more about giving Hillary a shot at winning she otherwise wouldn't have.
O.K. Hillary supporters gather 'round me.
And listen up. No matter what happens from here going forward Hillary cannot legitimately win the nomination. It is numerically impossible at this point. The people have spoken and she refuses to hear their voices.
To further continue the vile rhetoric and misleading campaign accusations her camp has been throwing at their opponent serves only to divide the party further. Do you want to hand the election to the Republicans? Again? That appears to be what you do best.
Try a new tack. Unite. Obama has already won the nomination. Do the math. Then work to put him in the White House.
I ask
I ask because that seem to be what you do best.
I wonder how eager Ms. Clinton would be to count the votes if she didn't think Michigan and Florida would vote in her favor. I also think it's very poor form for her to continually state that the states Mr. Obama wins are irrelevant. I 'm sure their voters do not like being referred to as irrelevant just because they have fewer delegates Their needs are just as important as the states with large numbers of delegates. She's dismissing a large part of the United States as unimportant, many of which put food on her table.
Will those states continue to be irrelevant to her should she become president?
I'm a democrat living in Michigan who supports Obama, and since I knew my vote wouldn't count and Obama (and Edwards) wasn't even on the ballot, I didn't bother voting. It would be absolutely ridiculous if Hillary expects the votes in Michigan to count towards her favor. The only fair thing to do at this point is to have a re-vote.
Hillary "won" Texas? Are you sure?
Texas caucus went to Obama and so did majority of delegates.
Hillary won popular votes in Primary thanks to Rush Limbaugh and Fox "News" calling republicans to vote for her.
Texas went for Obama in delegate count. Go figure.
I am not surprised that the Obama camp does not want to count FL and MI votes in any way. Despite the words Obama is dividing the country along racial lines again.......not much of a unifier is he.
Ms. Ferraro said "If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position," Apparently we need small children or a senior to state the obvious like in the children's story, The Emperor Has No CLothes. Obama is a great motivational speaker and has done a great job getting out the black vote and some of the young vote but he is clearly far less experienced than Hillary (and McCain). My biggest problem with Obama is that he claims to be a unifier (similar to Bush claims of being a uniter)but has clearly done all he could to make this a race about race. When Bill Clinton said Jesse Jackson won SC too, Obama allowed that factual statement to be mis interpreted despite the tremendous support the Clinton's have always provided to the black community. Now Obama is calling for Hillary to terminate Ms. Ferraro. I for one hope Hillary will not terminate Ms Ferraro for speaking the truth or claiming that The Emperor Has No Clothes.
is is about time that obama advisors come back into the real world.obama caanot claim that he won majority vote by winning delegates through small caucuses.
if he loses california ans wins wyaming it sounds equal but when you count the millions of votes in california that will matter in general election then obama is a loser.
i am not against a black president because i do not believe in race or religion of the candidate but ONLY HOW WELL HE OR SHE CAN SERVE THE COUNTRY.
THE MOST IMPORTANT GOAL SHOULD BE TO TAKE BACK WHITE HOUSE AND CONGRESS FROM REPUBLICANS. UNFORTUNATELY IN MY VIEW OBAMA CANNOT BEAT MCCAIN. HILLARY CAN BEAT MCCAIN BUT IT WILL BE A SURE WIN IF HE DISCARDS HIS EGO AND GET THE VP SLOT. HE CAN GAIN EXPERIENCE AND THERE IS GOOD CHANCE THAT DEMS WILL BE IN THE WHITE HOUSE FOR 16 YEARS> THAT IS A LONG TIME TO SERVE THE NATION.
SEN OBAMA , BE A SPORT AND CONTROL YOUR AMBITIONS AND DO THE RIGHT THING FOR THE COUNTRY YOU CLAIM TO LOVE.

This political battle is not only a new ballgame, it's a new game. Democracy
always is concerned with "majority" wins, but now there are delegate majorities,
super delegate majorities, and total vote majorities. There is a strong tug to
emphasize one over the other ones. The only outcome I can see is that
Obama starts a third party - the "Yes I Can" party and tries to unify the country
with that party. The oldtime -religion parties are in disarray and people feel
that we need a new politic , especially when you have students, intellectuals,
afro-americans(voting in HUGE numbers for the first time) and upper middle
class voters all in the same movement. We have to see this for our politic to
survive and start looking at these facts instead of the "soundbite" of the day.
It just seems that once again Florida gets screwed out of their votes counting for yet another election. A government for the people by the people? Does that mean that Florida should just cecede?
If what is at stake in Florida and Michigan are 366 pledged delegates and 53 super delegates, subtract 188 delegates from the required 2025 needed to win the parties nomination (requriing now 1837 to win the parties nomination).
Thus leveling the playing field and only penalizing the states that held primaries in January in violation of the party's schedule.
Those voters would be penalized because chosen representatives of those states had decided to not follow the rules. If you choose people to represent you then you should be bound by their actions.
The fallout of the current "diversity" movement is abudantly evident in this horrible statement of Ms. Ferraro...As long as we talk about "the look," we think we have diversity and in a very paternatlistic way, we whites think we are 'non-racist". But when someone with "the look" doesn't stay in the right box because of how they think, we discredit them. We are talking about two world views clashing here.
Barack grew up amid cultures in the STate of Hawaii and elsewhere that are collectivisitic and relationship oriented...in other words, "WE" can do it..together. it's not about waiting for someone else to do it for you. That's why relationships must be built before the task can be done. It's why he says that the policy doesn't matter if it can't be enacted by the impasse of divided relationships between parties. This is not naive or a fairyland. It is the world he knows can be for he has been shaped in that cultural milieu.
On the other hand, Hillary has grown up in a world where individualism to the extreme of "You gotta' do what you gotta' do" mentality Bill Clinton has cited in his race for presidency reigns. It is also a task oriented culture. The task comes before people and relationships. Only when tasks are accomplished might you dare to trust someone.
This is the diversity being missed by your reporters and pundits and campaigners alike. it's why we're all feeling a little crazy in this. We know it's not about race and gender but if the policies are so similar, what's it about? Process. HOW are things going to get done? i've not heard Hillary answer that one. I have heard Barack talk about it. That is the message she seeks to steal form him and say the rest of us who also dare to beleive there is a better way for we too have seen it are all crazy.
Hilliary is not at all exemplifing the qualities of a presidental leader. It appears this race is all about her winning No matter what!. She is seeking her own ambitions to obtain power! And couldn't give a d_mn (fill in the blank) not much at all about how the democratic party is looking right now! It's as if she's already in a presidential race for the White House, she's acting like she's running against a republican candidate and she is doing so, both viciously and "venomously". Clearly at this point , she can see where Obama , her fellow comrade, stands a much more greater chance of winning the presidential race against senator McCain yet she vehemently refuses to yield to him(Obama),even for the unselfish sake of the party .She simply refuses to bow gracefully out of a race that she is losing . This selfish, presumptious Obssesively aggressive sick attitude on her part is a RED FLAG indicator of what this woman is like. Is this what America wants in the White House?!!! Once more I find it next to impossible to believe that the Super Deligates who are the deciding factors in this long drawn out unescessary race for the democratic nomination ,would nominate someone who has LOST: 1 most of the primaries, 2 most of the states 3 most the popular votes when compared to senator McCain this individual's position appears shady. Furthermore, she makes the superdelegates look like crooks by offering senator Obama the vice president ticket before the race is even over and the nominee is known to the people of the United States because by doing so one could infer that perhaps they all (super delegates) have already pre suggested to her that inspite whatever happens - she' going to be the nominee to represent the democrats in the presidential election! Maybe, she knows something that we all don't know based on how she is talking offering someone a position that She is Not in the position to offer at this time! And probably won't be either!
I too agree that her actions are indeed without a shadow of a doubt, nothing short of :
Monsterous!
And I hope the rest of the American public can see this!
Obama is a smart, charismatic, young, forward looking, well educated, articulate, dynamic, visionary leader who can inspire this nation to live up to the lofty ideals of the Constitution. I like Obama because he stands for change and inspires us to believe that change is possible, but not if we keep electing the same olf Washington insiders. He also happens to have a dark complexion.
I agree every voters vote should count. So why did Senator Clinton and the rest of the DNC agree not to seat delegates from MI and FL an year before the election took place? I think "ready on day 1" had a year to fight the DNC to ensure the DNC allowed every vote to count. Maybe she was looking ahead to how she was going to play the DNC agreed upon rule in her favor to worry about protecting citizen's right to vote. I will vote Democrat in November if Senator Obama is their bid, if not I vote Green again and may even become a paying member. Why bother to vote, if the Party's can knock out most of the candidates long before the majority of states have voted? That is why I like Obama, he wants to end this $$$ thing and make elections fair for voters.
Does Hillary Clinton realize how much she sounds like a third world dictator when she argues in favor of seating the delegates from Florida and Michigan based on the bogus primaries? Senator Obama's name was not even on the ballot in Michigan. It's little wonder that she has a high disapproval rating among the American people! If she wins the nomination maybe she could ask Vladimir Putin to be her running mate. They seem to think alike.
What about consequences for Hillary for campaigning in Fla and Mi when she signed she wouldn't?
It's not that Hillary believes she is stronger in Michigan and Florida; she knows full well they may lose one or both of those. It's not even that new contests there are her last best hope. Her last best hope passed by weeks ago, and now her campaign is in denial, fueled on the fumes of a myth that also seems to serve the interests of the media: that she has any hope of winning this thing.
Do the math and you realize that she would need impossible margins in the remaining contests to catch up. Her campaign is on life-support, unable to call its own time of death.
Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro deserve each other. Both are unscrupolus individuals who would do and say anything to get ahead or mire the waters. Geraldine Ferraro was a joke as the Vice Presidential npminee on Walter Mondales ticket. She had absolutely no qualifications at that time to even be considered for that office. And here she is again talking trash. And where is Hillary with all this. coyly sitting by and softly disavowing what her flame thrower said. Hillary and Billy Boy have been trying to interject race into this campaign as soon as Obama showed he was a worthy opponent. Obama is going to win this thing. Lets just hope the super delegates do the right thing and support thepeoples will not that of Hilaary and Bill Clinton.
We like Hillary because she is intelligent, clear, strong, durable, skilled, capable, and REALISTIC. Equally, if not more significant, she is a loving mother. We view this as proof that the" weaker sex" is not weak and that Hillary becomes an international symbol, helpful in the empowerment of women in a world darkened by male power conflicts.( Where women and childern are the painful victums!) A reason why many women support Hillary is simply saying.. Lets give the intrinsic, profound values of motherhood a chance in this male conflict-darkened world.
When women seek power by using manipulation this is considered the greatest mortal sin. When men seek power using manipulation, it is considered a skill. (Look up manipulation in the dictionary.) An exemple of male skill in manipulation is exemplified by Barack in the" holier than thou charisma" when he said to Hillary that she is" likable enough". Of course we have been lead to believe that he is free of personal demeaning attacks. This is men of power doing business as usual, keeping women in their place: unless of course, they are useful to their own needs. Charisma, as you might quess, is a useful quality in service to manipulation.
Obama won Texas. Please report news, not spin.
Everything Hillary's done since Wisconsin just makes me less and less ambivalent towards her. The only chance she's got involves stealing the nomination at the convention. If she pulls that off, I'm gonna be extremely angry - I'm gonna do something I've never done in 5 presidential election cyles - I'll vote for the Republican. The vote in November hinges on the Independents in the center, not the Die-Hards at the fringes. If Hillary's power-hungry tactics drives a long-time Democrat like me (I voted for Dukakis for Christ's-sake) to the GOP, what effect will her nomination have on the true Independents? Think about that long and hard, ye Super Delegates.
Post #29 has it on target. We need change and Obama is the best chance for change.
Hillary Clinton... We will fight you in the streets... we will fight you in the hills ... we will fight you everywhere !
-Democratic Grass Roots - Organizing against Clinton's - Campaign against America.
We will FIGHT YOU Everywhere !
EVERYWHERE !
Hillary's manipulation of the Democratic Party's process is just shameless. This is the kind of dirty politics, that I hope, our nation can move beyond...
She makes my skin crawl.
( FYI: Obama can bring out the votes more than any other candidate. I'm not a member of the Democratic Party - I'm an Independent - but not only will I vote for this guy in November, I'll campaign for him. )
Ok I voted for Bill not once but twice... and yes I'm still p*ssed Al lost the electoral college to Bush. However, as an advid Obama supporter I must it time to put this to an end. Bototom line is Obama has the popular vote by over 700,000 he has the delegate lead of 160 and has won twice as many states.
After 43 Democratic nominating contests, including Tuesday’s primary in Mississippi, Sen. Hillary Clinton now trails Sen. Barack Obama in both state victories and the number of pledged delegates won.
That’s unlikely to change between now and the last scheduled primary in June.
But Clinton and her campaign have seized on an argument, hoping to sway enough superdelegates over to her side.
They contend that because Clinton has won primaries in important battleground states like Ohio — and perhaps Pennsylvania next month — she is better positioned to win those states in the general election.
But there’s just one fallacy to this argument that hasn’t received much attention: Recent history shows that winning a state in the primary season — no matter its importance on the map — doesn’t guarantee success in the general election.
In 2004, for example, John Kerry won early Democratic contests in Iowa, Arizona, and Missouri, but he fell short in all three states when pitted against George W. Bush.
In 1992, Bill Clinton captured primaries in Florida and Texas, but lost those states in the general election. And in 1984 — in a primary that has drawn parallels to the current Democratic race — Walter Mondale secured the Democratic nomination over Gary Hart in part by winning large industrial states like Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania.
But in the end, he wound up winning just one state against Ronald Reagan: his home state of Minnesota.
Obama or Clinton, Clinton or Obama, there's now way either can now bring the Party together alone. Bill Richardson, John Edwards, even Al Gore on the ticket can't get an Obama supporter to vote for Hillary now, and by the Convention that will cut both ways. I doubt Obama would take VP under Hillary, but if she wins, he will get the call. Here's a thread with various scenarios:

DON'T BE DUPED!!!
Large numbers of Republicans have been voting for Barack Obama in the DEMOCRATIC primaries, and caucuses. Because they feel he would be a weaker opponent against John McCain. And because they feel that a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket would be unbeatable. And also because with a Clinton and Obama ticket you are almost 100% certain to get quality, affordable universal health care very soon.
But first, all of you have to make certain that Hillary Clinton takes the democratic nomination and then the Whitehouse. NOW! is the time. THIS! is the moment you have all been working, and waiting for. You can do this America. “Carpe diem” (harvest the day).
I think Hillary Clinton see’s a beautiful world of plenty, and comfort for all. She is a woman, and a mother. And it’s time America. Do this for your-self, and your children’s future. You will have to work together on this and be aggressive, relentless, and creative. Americans face an even worse catastrophe ahead than the one you are living through now.
You see, the medical and insurance industry mostly support the republicans with the money they ripped off from you. And they don’t want you to have quality, affordable universal health care. They want to be able to continue to rip you off, and kill you and your children by continuing to deny you life saving medical care that you have already paid for. So they can continue to make more immoral profits for them-self.
Hillary Clinton has actually won by much larger margins than the vote totals showed. And lost by much smaller vote margins than the vote totals showed. Her delegate count is actually much higher than it shows. And higher than Obama’s. HILLARY CLINTON IS ALREADY THE TRUE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE!
As much as 30% of Obama's primary, and caucus votes are Republicans trying to choose the weakest democratic candidate for McCain to run against. These Republicans have been gaming the caucuses where it is easier to vote cheat. This is why Obama has not been able to win the BIG! states primaries. Even with Republican vote cheating help.
Hillary Clinton has been out manned, out gunned, and out spent 2 and 3 to 1. Yet Obama has only been able to manage a very tenuous, and questionable tie with Hillary Clinton.
If Obama is the democratic nominee for the national election in November he will be slaughtered. Because the Republican vote cheating help will suddenly evaporate. All of this vote fraud and republican manipulation has made Obama falsely look like a much stronger candidate than he really is. YOUNG PEOPLE. DON’T BE DUPED! Think about it. You have the most to lose.
The democratic party needs to fix this outrage. I suggest a Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama ticket now! Everyone needs to throw all your support to Hillary Clinton NOW! So you can end this outrage against YOU the voter, and against democracy.
I think Barack Obama has a once in a life time chance to make the ultimate historic gesture for unity, and change in America by accepting Hillary Clinton’s offer as running mate. Such an act now would for ever seal Barack Obama’s place at the top of the list of Americas all time great leaders, and unifiers for all of history. But the time to act is soon.
The democratic party, and the super-delegates have a decision to make. Are the democrats, and the democratic party going to choose the DEMOCRATIC party nominee to fight for the American people. Or are the republicans going to choose the DEMOCRATIC party nominee through vote fraud, and gaming the DEMOCRATIC party primaries, and caucuses.
Fortunately the Clinton’s have been able to hold on against this fraudulent outrage with those repeated dramatic comebacks of Hillary Clinton’s. Only the Clinton’s are that resourceful, and strong. Hillary Clinton is your NOMINEE. They are the best I have ever seen.
“This is not a game” (Hillary Clinton)
Sincerely
jacksmith...
Let's get real here... she's never giving up.
She'll lose the nomination and probably try a third party bid under "Americans for Clinton", following the Lieberman route of declaring your followers the only actual members of your party.
If you look at it, there are lots of similarities to that campaign. Lieberman started out trying to campaign as the presumptive nominee with 'politics as usual' and found himself suprised by an actual race. Eventually he won because of the simple fact that people are afraid of change. (And a lot of good he's done anyone since).
Unlike Lieberman, she can't get a whole country to vote for 'politics as usual'. That bid will go down in flames as well.
This is the biggest disservice a democratic candidate could possible do. To have a value supporter and campaigner suggest that a opponent from your own party is winning just because of his or her race is appalling. This is a slap to the face of all African Americans that voted for you Hillary and your husband. This method of thinking is preposterous and inexcusable. To play the race card this way is unwarranted. For the commenter earlier that said that African Americans are now voting in record numbers is not exactly true they always voted in large numbers. That was the main stable of the Democratic Party for many years and major contributor of the Democratic Party success. But the African American votes small portion of the electoral vote. To suggest that Obama is winning solely because of the African American vote is unfounded and absurd. With a string of victories in states that virtually have no African Americans voters demonstrates that he bridged the gap between racial lines. The fact that Hillary did not dismiss Geraldine Ferraro from her campaign says to me that she quietly endorse what this woman says. This to me says a lot about the integrity and the poise of a candidate. Maybe Hilary should take a lesson in the Ronald Reagan handbook.
to all those that believe the big state rhetoric the clinton camp is resting on...know this... cali, ny and the rest of the big blue are democrat, even if a penquin were running...so there was no real leadership or genius in going after them...the swings and red states are what the national will hinge upon...and while obama probably won't do as well there come the big show...some of his inroads will last and tilt the scales...that's if her highness will sit for moment and think of another way of redeeming the clinton name...hell try your hand at global warming or houses for the poor, like some other high profile democrats...she likes kids so start foundation to keep emanicpated youth from entering in to homelessness and street life...
jacksmith is blowing smoke out his tailpipe. There will be no Clinton/Obama ticket. That's a ruse. Obama will win the nomination in an honorable and respectable fashion, and will most certainly not pick anyone named Clinton to be the vice presidential candidate, because he is, after all, not a self destructive fool.
Suppose Clinton wins the nomination and McCain uses the same telephone advert against her, who would win the argument? Btwn HRC and McCain, who has the experience? Who would you rather "picked up that phone" at 3am?
If Expereience is what will determine the next occupier of White House then the Republicans have won. Clinton will have a very hard time competing agains McCain on the subject of experience. So, the best that the Democrats can do is to duel on other issues other than experience if they want to outsmart McCain. They can actually turn around the experience thing and say that when Bush was told that the country was under attack in 2001, he stayed still, not sure of what to do! He continued reading to kndergatten children and had to be literally dragged away to be hidden. At that point, experience did not help!
actually Obama bested CLinton in texas,
get it right.
he won the caucus, and earned three MORE delegates than she did...
correct your article accordingly.
I am a lifelong Democrat. I have become so disgusted with the kind of politics Hillary Clinton plays that I will not vote for her no matter what.. I just hope that the electorate has the intelligence to give her a resounding defeat. It absolutely amazes me that anyone would think that she is even in this race, accept that she is a woman. Look at her supporters.: white women, and they aren't afraid to trumpet their support of her just based on her sex. I am a woman, an older one and most every serious commentator sees very little difference in her positions from Obama's. So, why doesn/t she just go away? I was not a Hillary Hater until very recently. She has alienated a large portion of the Democratic electorate, so the superdelegates should take that into account. It is so cynical for her to choose
the states that vote last. I mean Hillary, Shame on YOU!!! They didn't teach you how to play nice in kindergarten, did they.? I think maybe she's been so closeted
in the corridors of power that it's ruined the probably perfectly decent human being she once was. Think about it, how do you think an impeachment would affect a person.?She sees enemies everywhere. And anything is fair. I feel sorry for her ending up this way, thinking everyone is out to get her and the only way is the nasty way. But we don't need a President with those issues. She may turn out to be a George W. Bush twin, who is intent on rectifying the "wrongs" against her maligned husband. A President needs some mental balance, and I think her life experiences have destroyed her, not made her wise.
To Comment #4 ("just the facts"), the 13.4% of african american population is not the right number to look at. You should be looking at the % for Democrats, which I suspect is much higher.
Which goes to show that "just the facts" can be misleading too if they are applied in the wrong context.
Obama needs to drive the point that THE WAR IN IRAQ IS HAVING SERIOUS NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON OUR ECONOMY and that those who voted for the war (hillary) should be to blame, in part, for the state of the US economy.
Look how the WAR IN IRAQ is affecting the U.S.economy...
$3,000,000,000…$3 billion PER WEEK! That is the amount America is paying for the Iraq War, money that should have been used here, at home.
Add to this:
Interest. We are financing the war with borrowed money (e.g. treasuries) so in actuality, we're the war is costing the United States MORE than $ 3 billion PER WEEK.
Higher oil and energy prices. Instability in Iraq is adding roughly 30 dollars per barrel as a premium.
High oil prices mean high utility bills. Due to high oil prices, demand shifts to other sources of energy - nat gas, coal, etc. - and greater demand will raise the equilibrium price of all sources of energy -- Can you say high energy bills?
Higher oil prices (a raw material used in the production of many goods, fertilizers, gasoline, diesel, plastics, etc.) mean higher prices of goods and services -- Can you say INFLATION?
Higher oil prices mean a higher trade deficit because most of our oil comes from foreign sources. A higher trade deficit means more money is leaving the country than is coming into the country -- Can you say 'Goodbye money!'
Our dollar is weak and getting weaker. Since we have a trade deficit and is growing in large part to the rising cost of imported oil, the value of goods and services we import exceeds the value of goods we export. You know that foreign car you're thinking of buying or the computer you're using, or that trip abroad you've been thinking of taking....well, guess what? It is going to cost more, Ceteris Peribus, because the dollar is weak, weak, weak.
Lastly, how do you think the world views our country because of this war? The evidence was weak and circumstantial, yet we rushed into war with Iraq thanks to Hillary’s authorization.
PLEASE SHOW ME SENATOR OBAMA'S JUDGEMENT TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE USA: SINCERELY, SEN. OBAMA WILL BE READY IN EIGHT (8) YEARS
1. Senator Obama as Chairman of an oversight committee with responsibility to fight Al Qeada in Afghanistan:
Senator Barack Obama says he has the judgment to be president, repeatedly criticizing Clinton for supporting the Iraq war. I can't just figure out the fix, right here: As chairman of an oversight committee charged with the force of fighting Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, Senator Barack Obama was too busy running for president to hold even one hearing. Senator Barack Obama, admitted: "I became chairman of this committee, at the beginning of this campaign, at the beginning of 2007, so it is true that we haven't had oversight hearings on Afghanistan." Is this the right judgement that will make America safe. We support Clinton because she is ready to secure America, with nothing held back. In fact, Clinton will NEVER be too busy to defend our national security-bringing our troops home from Iraq and pursing Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.
No wonder former admirals, generals, and senior defense officials, not long ago, gave their reasons for supporting Senator Clinton to be our next Commander-in-Chief. In a conference call with reporters, some of the nation’s most distinguished flag officers testified to Senator Clinton’s qualifications, experience, and strength of character.
Distinquished Generals and Flag Officers, have endorsed and continue to endorse Hillary Clinton to be the Nation’s next President. Senator Clinton has received five endorsements in recent days, including those of General Henry Hugh Shelton, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral William Owens, the former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Army Major General Antonio M. Taguba. Overall she has the endorsement of two former chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, five admirals and generals at the four-star rank. Remember, they are in addition to over 2,000 veterans and military retirees who are members of Senator Clinton’s national and state veterans’ steering committees.
These include, but are not limited to the following: General Wesley Clark
Admiral William Owens, General Johnnie E. Wilson, Lt. Gen. Joe Ballard
Lt. Gen. Claudia J. Kennedy, Vice Admiral Joseph A. Sestak, Lt. Gen. Frederick E. Vollrath, Major General George A. Buskirk, Jr., Major General Paul D. Eaton, Rear Admiral Stuart Platt, Rear Admiral David Stone
Major General Antonio M. Taguba, Brigadier General Michael Dunn
Brigadier General Evelyn "Pat" Foote, Brigadier General John M. Watkins, Jr., Brigadier General Jack Yeager, Former Secretary of the Army and Veterans Affairs Togo West, Former Secretary of the Navy, John Dalton
2. The Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Sen. Obama’s relationship:
Senator Obama's Pastor for 20 years, Friend, Mentor, Spiritual leader, gave inspiration to write a book, ‘Audacity of Hope’, Was married by him, Baptized two daughters by him, Thanked him after he won the Senate seat, Consulted him before deciding to run for president, Prayed privately with him before announcing his candidacy, Member of his campaign team (resigned today), And was like an uncle.
Sen. Obama said that he NEVER HEARD of this kind of comment from the pastor. I agree, Senator Obama used all the convenient words, denounce, reject, repudiate, condemn, e tal to turn off the heat.
Please, you be the judge if Sen. Obama has ‘Judgment to Lead’ the United States of America, the most powerful nation on the planet, as you know, 'judgement to lead' is Sen. Obama's campaign slogan.
Back to the Reverend Jeremiah Wright's relationship with Sen Obama. It is now an open secret that Sen. Obama took his two beautiful daughters to this church- are these the lessons Sen. Obama wants to teach his young children? What does Sen. Obama say to them when he disagrees with part of the sermon? As an honest American, would you continue to expose your young children to speech you disagree with and then try to teach how to reject a part of the speech? What does this choice say about Sen. Obama’s judgment and how much of what Rev. Wright says he rejects?
3. Because Sen Obama was ALMOST becoming the front runner and could end up as the next President, we have a right to know before we vote some of his explanations to what is in parlance today. Below are some questions to Sen. Obama:
Sen. Obama, in a previous debate you told the Nation that you worked for the slumlord Tony Rezko just for 5 hrs. According to a report in Salon magazine, your relationship went back to 17 years; in fact Mr. Rezko has looked after your political growth, contributed a great deal of funds to your campaign and was involved in the purchase of your home and land. Mr. Rezko is in jail now. So please tell us the truth. Particularly that you made an error in judgement to have your life driven for 17 years by a slumlord from Syria who exploited the state and federal govts for millions of dollars, and he did not even provide heat and electricity to the housing units where poor African Americans lived. And you were his friend.
Sen. Obama, you say that Hillary Clinton made an error in judgement in voting for the Iraq war. If I were in Hillary’s position, and had all the various documents from CIA and NSC, I probably would not have taken a chance with the safety of my country and would have voted for the war; I could not imagine President Bush by no mistake of his giving me false information.
Sen. Obama, you were not a senator and you told that you would not have known, how you would have voted, were you a senator. Even if you voted yes I would not fault you because I do not want any one taking a chance protecting American citizens. If you were a senator, and did not know what you know now, how you would have voted? Justify your answer with your subsequent votes on the matter.
Sen. Obama, you have been given huge campaign contributions by a nuclear energy company in Illinois, and the legislation to control deposit of nuclear waste was watered down by you according to NYT. What is your explanation?
Sen. Obama, you simply are not qualified to be President. In your 60 minute interview you indicated your qualifications have to do with running this campaign and your Senate Office; and according to one of your advisors, your foreign policy credentials involve taking a course in foreign affairs while you were in college. Tell me please, how does this qualify you to sit with the Generals of the US military, and operation leaders in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and understand them?
Sen. Obama, how many times have you visited Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and spend time with our forces and our offices there? What is your take from these visits.
Sen. Obama, please tell America about your competence and substance about pulling the levers of the govt, and extracting accountability.
Sen. Obama, why are African American population supporting you from 80-90%. Sen. Extraordinary margins of such support are unheard of in the history of democracy except in Islamic countries in the middle east and central asia where dictators run phony democratic elections and obtain 90% support from enslaved people. In addition, your devotees are pouring in contributions far, far exceeding the norm. To a lot of people you have become a God, and your rhetoric, and promises with no explanation of how are you paying for it, contribute more to this frenzy. You have made electing a President of a country into a carnival and showbiz hoopla. Do you think that this is good for the country?
Sen. Obama, you continue to claim correctly that you opposed the war in Iraq in the beginning. But after that you have aided, just like Hillary, President Bush to wage this war. What have you done to stop this war after you became a senator? Your colleague Dennis Kucinich opposed the war from the beginning, continued to oppose it, and every chance he got, he voted against the budget for the war. Why did you not oppose the war like Dennis Kucinich?
Sen. Obama, you say that you do not work with the politicians and corporate hacks who lobby; but you do at the State level, according to News reports. Do you? if yes, why?
Sen. Obama, if you answer the above questions honestly you will find that you are not any different from any other politician inside the beltway.
Sen. Obama, your messages of hope, unity and cooperation are slogans designed to be in resonance with the aspirations of the American citizens, they are just slogans, the available data show that you do not mean to live by them, just like any other Washington insider politicians. Your argument that you are free from the influence of Washington establishment is not true; the torch of the Democratic Party is being passed on to you by the Kennedys, by the titular head of Dems John Kerry, and you are being supported by the showbiz mogul Oprah, and you have won more delegates and more States and argue that you are an underdog. Is not this the typical Washington insider lie?
We realize that you do not want an issue-driven debate because you are on a roll, and debates are dangerous; a moderator can ask you focussed question since there are only two people. But you will not be serving the country properly and wisely if you dodge American Demand Driven Debates (ADDD). If Hillary were in your position, in a roll for the nomination, obviously she will resist debating you. But this is OK because she is not promising a kumbayya Presidency like you, but a tough inside the beltway Presidency breathing competence, substance and accountability.
We face an enemy that has repeatedly attacked us and remains committed to killing Americans and the destruction of our most cherished values. This election is about who is best prepared to lead and defend our nation and its international allies as Commander-in-Chief from day one. This election is about MAKING SURE we have the experienced leadership to guide us to victory in this war, protect the nation against future terrorist attacks, and support our troops and first responders who are on the frontlines of the war.
We ALL like Sen. Obama, BUT we have the United States of America to govern in a very difficult time of Islamic jihad, the economy, health care, housing crisis, Iraq, nuclear weapons and our image abroad; the OVERWHELMING challenges confronting us in the 21st century. The stakes in this election are so very high, and it will take a leader with Hillary Clinton's strength, will, resolve, determination and experience to tackle the challenges we face.If Hillary should succeed, America and the world would be changed forever and for the better, FOREVER.
Not only is she the best qualified candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton will win in November, take back the White House, and deliver real tangible and VALID results for America and globally by creating a strong, secure, prosperous and globally respected America, AGAIN.
Fellow Americans, there will be a clear choice November 2008, and I strongly believe that Hillary Clinton's life has prepared her to lead our country, the country we love so very much in the transcendent challenge of the 21st century. God bless Hillary Clinton, OUR NEXT President for a secure, strong, prosperous and globally respected America. God Bless America.

Whosoever wins the race must know that PATRIOTISM for one's country does not mean looking down on the rest of the World!... Some seem to be ready to cross the rubicon , just to achieve their goal... And what next? This is my advice.
I have been a supporter of President Clinton since he came to power in early 90s.
I am not an American and will never be. I believe however that, Clinton's legacy that lifted Hillary to where she is now, will not necessarily be very useful to her if she happens to win...
I hope wisdom will prevail and the the democrats will win; come the D day...
I am for Obama, for I hope he will free the world (and Africa) from Dictators!...
Obama’s efforts to connect to the Republican Party, specifically Bush, and Dick Cheney, of the Halliburton Company, dates back to the Presidents Grandfather, Prescott Bush, and indeed Cheney was once an executive officer of Halliburton.
The American military pounds Iraq with Artillary, bombs, and the like, destroying large sections of cities, and infra-structures, then Halliburton comes in to rebuild. Halliburton and Halliburton associated companies have raked in ten’s of billions.
Obama is just like the BIG HALIBURTAN. Haliburton has contracted to build detention centers in the U.S. similiar to the one in Quantanammo Bay, Cuba. Halliburton does nothing to earn the Two Dollars for each meal an American Serviceman in Iraq eats.
http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/
Halliburton was scheduled to take control of the Dubai Ports in The United Arab Emiirate. The deal was canceled when Bush was unable to affect the transfer of the American Ports.
Now we see what some might suspect as similiar financial escapading from the Democrats.
Two years ago, Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity gave a $50 million contract to a start-up security company - Companion- owned by now-indicted businessman (TONY REZKO) Tony Rezko and a onetime Chicago cop, Daniel T. Frawley, to train Iraqi power-plant guards in the United States. An Iraqi leadership change left the deal in limbo. Now the company, Companion Security, is working to revive its contract.
Involved along with Antoin “Tony” Rezco, long time friend and neighbor of Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, and former cop Daniel T. Frawley, is Aiham Alsammarae. Alsammarae was accused of financial corruption by Iraqi authorities and jailed in Iraq last year before escaping and returning here.
LIKE FATHER LIKE SON --
Recently, Obama's campaign staff have been vetted by the IRS to disclose his connection to the criminal money generating underworld. Besides, his connections to the REZCO MAFIA types, his up-coming tax fraud charges — Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and disclose Obama's MUSLIM Farrakhan mob connection to Chicago's Trinity United Church of Christ. Its minister, and Obama's spiritual adviser, is the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. In 1982, the church launched Trumpet Newsmagazine; Wright's daughters serve as publisher and executive editor. Every year, the magazine makes awards in various categories. Last year, it gave the Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. Trumpeter Award to a man it said "truly epitomized greatness." That man is Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan and Chicago's Trinity United Church are trumpeting Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama as the second coming of the messiah. Obama should stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It’s time to introduce this false, fake Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke "GLORK" Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek. He is MAD!!! --
OBAM YOU'RE NO JFK --
"GLORK" Obama looks like Alfred E. Newman: "Tales Calculated To Drive You." He is a MUSLIM "Glork" He's MAD!!! Alfred E. Neuman is the fictional mascot of Mad. The face had drifted through American pictography for decades before being claimed by Mad editor Harvey Kurtzman after he spotted it on the bulletin board in the office of Ballantine Books editor Bernard Shir-Cliff, later a contributor to various magazines created by Kurtzman.
Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It’s time to introduce this false, fake "GLORK" Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek.
Michelle Obama should be ashamed.
"GLORK" Michelle Obama should be ashamed of her separatist-racist connection to Farrakhan and Chicago's Trinity United Church trumpeting Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama as the second coming of the messiah. If Michelle Obama new what her husband -- the Hope-A-Dope, Fonster Monster -- Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama did in Harlem, she would wash her wide-open, Hus-suey loving MUSILM mouth out, with twenty-four (24) mule-team double-cross X-boX-BorraX. He is a MUSLIM "Glork" It’s time to introduce this false, fake "GLORK" Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek. THE SPEECH --
The Apologia has arrived and once again the self-indicting, separatist-racist Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama, promises to heal the wounds of the world. The speech is the rude awakening of mass messianism of his campaign. Apologetically, Obama the MUSLIM double-cross X-boX-BorraX has an astonishingly empty two-prawn echelon explanation of his misjudgment.
In the first prawn: with regard to his connection to separatist-racist Rev. Wright; Obama summons voodoo and juju to express slavery as beginning and ending with the Rev. Wright.
In the second prawn: Obama's speech takes credit for Ashley's dream. A dream of unity Martin Luther King, Jr. borrowed from Ashley for his historic "I Have A Dream" speech. In Obama's speech, the connective bond Ashley, the elderly black man and Obama's grandmother share; represents Obama's self-indicting rise to the Harvard Yard. For Obama, the grand flag of language is the semi-fore of words, bestowed upon our nation by the messiah-alumni from Harvard. Obama's Swoon-Song Apologia to the nation represents a failed hymn -- a hymn that fails to heal the nation, repair the world, or make this time different than all the rest. Obama's speech is a brilliant failure.

MUSLIM LIES --
The ILLIGITIAMTE MUSLIM MESSIA has blundered yet again!!! The self-indicting, separatist-racist Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama, lied about the politics of his campaign. The danger involved with this self-aggrandizing, -a-hoop, Hope-A-Dope, Fonster Monster -- Barack Obama AKA Barack Hussein Obama is that -- "Like Father Like Son" Obama is constantly wanting to impress America with "...his incapacity for sound judgment." On top of the horrible crime Obama committed in Harlem, the fact is, we have to hear it from Karl Rove about Obama's latest campaign crisis: "GLORK" Top Ten Obama Lies:
1. Obam said his parents met at the Selma march -- Reality: He was born 4 years before that.
2. Obam said he was a constitutional law professor -- Reality: . . . Obama Made This False Claim In His 2004 Senate Race. “Several direct-mail pieces issued for Obama's primary [Senate] campaign said he was a law professor at the University of Chicago. He is not. He is a senior lecturer (now on leave) at the school..
3. Obam said he spoke fluent Indonesian as a child -- Reality: . . . Obama has claimed on numerous occasions to have become fluent in Indonesian in six months. Yet another Phi Beta Krakatau lie from Obama. Those who knew him disputed that during recent interviews. Israel la Pareira Darmawan, Obama's 1st-grade teacher, said she attempted to help him learn the Indonesian language by going over pronunciation and vowel sounds. Truth-be-told: Obama's Indonesian teachers say Kaku-Pooh.
4. Obam said he was involved in community asbestos and housing project for the poor -- Reality: Didn't happen. This was the basis for Barrack and Michelle's claim, that he was a community activist on the South and East Side of Chicago. Usher United Arab Emirates (UAE) A+ lie both he and his twenty-four (24) mule-team, Hus-suey loving wife Michelle Obama have been claiming in the campaign -- Reality: The Chicago Newspaper's, Obelus -- Kiss-A-Cuss:...NO-MAMA.
5. Obam said in his book that he received his racial awakening at age nine reading a Life/Ebony Magazine story about a black man who was scarred trying to dye his skin white -- Reality: Didn't happen. Both Magazines (Life and Ebony), and the Rev. Wright and Farrakhan MUSLIM Trumpet Newsmagazine say, just didn't happen.
6. Obam’s Campaign Didn’t Have The “Technical Capacity” To Produce The “1984” Ad:
Obama: “But it's not something that we had anything to do with or were aware of and that frankly, given what it looks like, we don't have the technical capacity to create something like that.” (CNN’s “Larry King Live,” 3/24/07) -- Reality:...The Creator Admitted All It Took Was A “Sunday Afternoon” On His Mac. Phillip de Vellis: “I made the ad on a Sunday afternoon in my apartment using my personal equipment (a Mac and some software), uploaded it to YouTube, and sent links around to blogs.”
7. Obam’s Campaign Claimed His High School Friend Tried To Extort Money From Them:
“According To The Obama Campaign, [Obama’s Punahou Classmate Keith] Kakugawa Explicitly Raised The Possibility That He Could Make Up False Stories About Obama, Implying He Would Do So If The Campaign Did Not Give Him Money.” (Maurice Possley, Kirsten Scharnberg and Ray Gibson, -- Reality: “...An Old Friend's Troublesome Return,” Chicago Tribune, 3/25/07).
8. Obam voted to bring low-cost foreign labor into New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina -- Reality:...This was a slap in the face against the African-Americans who were displaced in that city. Obama also voted to place Michael Chertoff, the man responsible for the Katrina catastrophe, in charge of Homeland Security. Obama voted for Senate-Bills that gave Blackwater the funding they needed to shoot the folks of New Orleans who were only trying to save their own lives. The towel head voted to allow Michael Chertoff to waive all applicable laws, including murder, torture, kidnaping, and he suppoted water-boarding.
9. Obam voted more than five times for USA-PATRIOT ACT renewal -- Reality:...This is a Senate-Bill patently offensive to most Americans. City after city has passed resolutions condemning USA-PATRIOT ACT. Obama chose to side with tyranny over freedom and Bush over the folks on this issue. The Real ID Act, which would allow Michael Chertoff to declare martial law and imprison Americans, was supported by Obama, as noted above.
10. Obam is not a MAD MAN. Senator Obama Is not involved along with Antoin “Tony” Rezco, long time friend and neighbor, now-indicted businessman (TONY REZKO), or Tony Rezko and a onetime Chicago cop, Daniel T. Frawley. Senator Obama is not involved in any nuclear security, bribery, money payoffs, or cronyism in the state of Illinois; or criminal activities related to the BIG HALIBURTAN and V.P. Cheney's Halliburton bribery case; or any political misjudgment in his escalating campaign crisis. "GLORK" Senator Obama is not a self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box. Obama executed no crime in Harlem. Obama is Not America's Poison -- Reality:...He's Radio-Active.
