Showdown coming in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania's Democratic chairman this afternoon compared the campaign whirlwind about to hit his state to the dog catching up to a milk truck.
Pennsylvania's primary on April 22, with 158 delegates, is the biggest left on the nomination calendar and appears even more crucial after Hillary Clinton won the primaries in Ohio and Texas on Tuesday and reinvigorated her campaign.
T.J. Rooney said on MSNBC that it's exciting for Keystone State Democrats to have a voice in the race.
He also said that the state favors Hillary Clinton because of its demographics -- lots of blue-collar voters like Ohio -- and because only registered Democrats can vote -- Barack Obama has consistently fared better among independents and Republicans.
"Pennsylvania sets up very well for Senator Clinton," he said.
Polls last week, however, showed Obama narrowing Clinton's lead to between 4 and 6 percentage points.

It will be terrific to have only Democrats voting in a Democratic Primary. I am confident that Pennsylvania voters are smart enough to vote for the most prepared and decisive candidate - Hillary in 2008!
Unfortunately for the democrats...the most prepared candidate, ready on day one and with the experience is John McCain..Not former first lady Clinton or community organizer Obama
Being the first lady doesn't qualify you to be President. So those 8 years she was visiting 80 countries was a travel gig for her that's for sure. Her whitewater fiasco will bury her when the Republicans bring it up with the new evidence they have she committed perjury. The 'missing' documents from Vince Foster's office is soon to come up if she gets the nomination. The stealing of documents from the National Archives by one of her operatives to cover up the Clinton's foreign policy gafs that led to the bombing of the trade towers the first time - her ridiculous laugh that sounds like the cackling of a witch - she will never get to be the President of the United States. Vote for Obama.
Yeah it is up to the Democratic voters to decide on what the future could bring and i hope they make the right chose...........Obama 08
I would not like to see Bill Clinton as FIRST LADY in the White House.
Carrie is correct in my opinion. The remarks posted by kmk could most certainly keep Hillary out of the white house and probably should if they are true. It always amazes me how powerful the propaganda machine is. People are so full of hate for one or the other based partly on false accusations. I hope the voters in Penn don't fall for it. I know they wont. Obama needs to come back in 8 years when he has a bit more under his belt. As for McCain he will be our next President if Obama gets the nomination. And it has nothing to do with all the dirt being thrown at him now. Do not underestimate the power of the lovely Grand Old Party, they contribute regulary to the book of dirty politics. You will see many Democrats leave the party or not vote at all.
