Cindy McCain: Hubby is not a hothead
Cindy McCain used the forum of "The View" today to try to dispel what she called one of the biggest myths about her husband -- that he's a hothead.
The Washington Post, in a report Sunday, was the latest to explore the issue of McCain's volatility. The Boston Globe was one of the first during the campaign, reporting in January about the legendary run-ins the presumptive Republican nominee has had with colleagues in the Senate. "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine," Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi said then.
Cochran later endorsed McCain, who has explained his actions as those of a man who cares deeply about America and who gets angry about corruption -- as he did later Sunday on ABC's "This Week."
His wife gave a similar take today as a guest co-host on ABC's daytime talk show. "He is passionate about the future of this country," she said. "Some people mistake that for temper."

What a load. McCain has admitted multiple times that he has a problem controlling his temper. How could anyone vote for a self-professed hothead to be the most powerful man on the planet and leader of the free world?

Perhaps, Brendan, but probably better than a racist, pretentious, snobbish, ultra left-wing, America-hating neophyte with zero understanding of either economics or foreign policy and an arrogance far exceeding his judgement. Give me a war hero any day.
