Rock Chalk Clinton?
Barack Obama is the one who boasts of his game on the basketball court and superstitiously plays pickup on the morning of primaries.
But it was Hillary Clinton who brought up Monday night's NCAA championship game before an union crowd this morning.
In her universe, she's the Kansas Jayhawks, pulling out a dramatic overtime win -- and Obama is the Memphis Tigers, wasting a 9-point lead with two minutes left in regulation.
"Great comeback, right? That's my kind of outcome," she told the Communication Workers of America, getting a big cheer, according to press accounts.
If Clinton's analogy holds, Obama better practice free throws, which Memphis failed to make down the stretch. And the May 6 primaries in North Carolina and Indiana -- probably the country's two biggest hoops hotbeds -- would be her equivalent of Kansas' three-pointer with two seconds left to force extra time.
