McCain finally gets 80 percent in primary
John McCain finally broke the 80 percent benchmark in a primary since effectively clinching the Republican nomination.
In a two-man race Tuesday with Ron Paul in Nebraska, McCain won 87 percent of the vote to 13 percent for Paul.
In a bigger field of candidates in West Virginia, however, McCain reached 76 percent. Mike Huckabee won 10 percent, Paul got 5 percent, Mitt Romney won 4 percent, and Rudy Giuliani grabbed 2 percent.
McCain is still trying to unite Republicans behind him -- a process made more difficult by Paul's supporters having strong showings at state conventions around the country and the continuing anti-McCain vote in primaries.

you rock you should so win we love you!!!!!! hell ya!!!!
Nebraska had a primary yesterday?
McCain is a sad representative for the Conservative Republicans of our nation. I will vote for Obama if he gets the nomination before I will vote for McClueless.
If Hillary is the dems nominee I will vote for a 3rd party candidate, or write in the one candidate with the most conservative voting record, but I can't say his name, the media will get upset, especially hannity, lol...
It was a closed primary so only registered Repubs could vote and the independents had no voice!
McCains party, without Diebold in his corner McCain would be in the asylum where he belongs. Ron Paul won every televised debate, McCain won zilch. Ron Paul won 40 + straw polls John McCain won 5. Ron Paul has 100,000 + meetup members in 1450 meetup groups WORLDWIDE! Your hard pressed to find a meetup for John McCain. Ron Paul raised $4.5 million dollars in a single day online, John McCain well lets say his wife wouldn't even loan him campaign money...He had to get a hit from the criminal Rothchilds (American class action against him for stealing from the American people with illegal tax and Federal Reserve) Sick of the absurdity of all this..The media is insane...WHO'S CRASHING WHO'S PARTY MEDIA .TELL US THE TRUTH YOU LIEING BASTARDS?
McCain will never get Ron Paul Republicans to "rally" for him. The GOP is done. Unless Americans wake up and embrace the horror of 100 years of bad governmental management, America is done. Paul's platform is the only thing offered that can save this nation.
