Superdelegate competition continues
While Barack Obama snagged the most interesting superdelegate today -- former Democratic Party chief Joe Andrew, who switched from Hillary Clinton -- Clinton has held her dwindling lead among the party leaders and elected officials.
John Olsen, head of the Connecticut AFL-CIO, declared for Clinton. He told The Associated Press that he voted for Clinton in the state's Democratic primary in February. "She's demonstrated a real ability to reach out to real important constituent groups -- workers, Hispanics, Catholics," he said in the AP interview. "In order to win, we're going to need a real scrapper. And we need to have someone to continue to fight."
Clinton's campaign also announced four superdelegates chosen by the state party executive committee in her home state of New York: Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, former Manhattan Borough President C. Virginia Fields, New York Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, and state Assemblywoman Carmen Arroyo.
Besides Andrew of Indiana, Obama also announced the support of John Patrick, a Democratic National Committee member and AFL-CIO leader from Texas. "Senator Barack Obama has spent a lifetime standing up for American workers, and he will be a crucial voice for us in the White House," Patrick said in a statement provided by the Obama campaign. "Senator Obama has a real plan to put money back in the pockets of working families by restoring the manufacturing base in America."
Obama is also expected to pick up three so-called add-on superdelegates from his home state of Illinois early next week.
Counting those, Obama trails Clinton by 20 superdelegates. He has 248 to 268 for Clinton, according to the latest AP count. In the overall tally, Obama leads 1,736.5 to 1,602.5 for Clinton. Since neither appears likely to win enough delegates from primaries and caucuses to reach the 2,025 needed to clinch the nomination, it's likely that superdelegates will determine the winner.

Dear Fellow Americans,
Our Great-grand Nation, the United States of America is and will face very critical "Challenges" in coming, months, years and decades.
In my professional opinion the critical characters of next would be our President are summarized as under.
1. Vision and true believe.
2. Character and compassion.
3. Presidential Temperament and Judgment.
4. Past versus future.
The one candidate among the remaining three candidates how meets all these characteristics is Senator Obama.
As an independent registered voter since 1974. I voted for Carter, voted for Reagan, voted for First and second Bush in 2000. Last interest and stopped voting.
This time we can not afford to stay on side lines and Washington stay the same. We can not afford our Greatgreat Nation to become less than what are. I need the sent message to the world, 24 hour corporate media
and minor hateful partisan media to deprive, dupe, and derail us from getting right it this.
The family, fellowship, friends, faith, funds, with freedom and fairness and without fear and favor what is at stake this time. We can do it and I am sure the people of our Greatgrand Nation will do it.
God Bless our Great grand Nation, its diverse people. Our future needs stability, security, safety, and restoration of our due status in this Global World.

Let me introduce myself. I am a 19 year-old voter and a proud American!
This is my reaction as a young American.
We need a candidate who has the experience, the knowledge and the judgment to lead us. And that how I see Hillary Clinton.
Hillary has the best solutions that can fix the problems in Washington and ready to do the job starting from Day One.
Hillary Clinton has the best chance to beat the Republican nominne, Sen. John McCain in the General Elections because she has the big states which are important during General Elections.
Senator Clinton has the best plan for the war in Iraq, has the best plan for education, has the best plan immigration, health care and the most important, she has the best policy and plan to turn our economy around.
America needs solutions! Many people have already promised change and hope but what happened? This is significant during the Presidential campaign of Jimmy Carter in 1976. He said he will bring change and hope and break the barriers in Washington but what happened during his years as President?
We Americans should always learn from the past. Promises don't change and change begins with us through unity. We must unite ourselves to the candidate who can really bring us change through solutions that can truly inspires. Vote for the person who is ready for change and ready for the job in Oval Office.
God bless us all and may God continue to bless America!
DEBATE! DEBATE!! DEBATE!!!
It's time for everyone to face the truth. Barack Obama has no real chance of winning the national election in November at this time. His crushing defeat in Pennsylvania makes that fact crystal clear. His best, and only real chance of winning in November is on a ticket with Hillary Clinton as her VP.
Hillary Clinton seemed almost somber at her Pennsylvania victory speech. As if part of her was hoping Obama could have proved he had some chance of winning against the republican attack machine, and their unlimited money, and resources.
But it is absolutely essential that the democrats take back the Whitehouse in November. America, and the American people are in a very desperate condition now. And the whole World has been doing all that they can to help keep us propped up.
Hillary Clinton say's that the heat, and decisions in the Whitehouse are much tougher than the ones on the campaign trail. But I think Mr. Obama faces a test of whether he has what it takes to be a commander and chief by facing the difficult facts, and the truth before him. And by doing what is best for the American people by dropping out of the race, and offering his whole hearted assistance to Hillary Clinton to help her take back the Whitehouse for the American people, and the World.
Mr. Obama is a great speaker. And I am confident he can explain to the American people the need, and wisdom of such a personal sacrifice for them. It should be clear to everyone by now that Hillary Clinton is fighting her heart out for the American people. She has known for a long time that Mr. Obama can not win this November. You have to remember that the Clinton's have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it takes.
If Mr. Obama fails his test of commander and chief we can only hope that Hillary Clinton can continue her heroic fight for the American people. And that she prevails. She will need all the continual support and help we can give her. She may fight like a superhuman. But she is only human.
Sen. Hillary Clinton: "You know, more people have now voted for me than have voted for my opponent. In fact, I now have more votes than anybody has ever had in a primary contest for a nomination. And it's also clear that we've got nine more important contests to go."

I am strong Democrat supporting Sen. Obama. Should Obama win the popular vote and the pledged delegates and the superdelegates give the nomination to Sen. Clinton, I will sit out this years election. This is a given. In a Democracy it is very important that the peoples will prevails.
I am sure that there are lot voters who think just like me. To the Superdelegates, please consider your vote if you want a Democrat to win the White House.
