Voting early and often in Indiana, N.C.

Indiana and North Carolina haven't had this big a say in the Democratic presidential race for decades, so election officials are reporting high interest and possible record turnout.

One indication: More than 600,000 people have already voted in the two states combined, taking advantage of early voting and absentee balloting before Tuesday's primaries.

The numbers are particularly eye-popping in North Carolina. More than 488,000 voters have already cast ballots, nearly 13 percent of eligible voters.

In Indiana, at least 159,000 people have already voted, about 4 percent of eligible voters.

  1. Is there anyway of knowing which candidate has the most votes from these 600,000?

  1. * Based on current polls, I believe that Operation Chaos Voters need to shift directions (hold their noses) and vote Obama in this Tuesday's elections. The reason I believe we need to take this direction is that the Hildabeast is occasionally fairing better in several polls against McCain than is Obama. This shift is making me nervous. If we can get Obama as the Dems nominee, then I believe we'll have a much easier chance of getting McCain elected. Moreover... anyone but the Hildabeast! Please! Not the BEAST! Note The Beast's slime has already been brought out and virtually dismissed. For example, what really happened to Vince Foster, with the WhiteWater scandle, with Brown's mysterious death, with Hillary's unusual campaign donations in LA , and with the Beast's original vote regarding sending troops into Iraq? We can suspect the infamous Clintin Machine at work, but still... this is old news. This sleezy behavior has already been out in the media for discussion and is old hat

  1. I find it ironic, Katheryn, that you are calling Hillary's behavior sleazy, while you are calling her "Hildabeast.". Can you not think of something more intelligent to say?

  1. Katheryn - When it is all said and done, Democrats (including myself) will come together and vote for the nominee. I am an Obama supporter, but I think it would be funny as hell if Hillary wins the nomination due to "Operation Chaos Voters" and then wins the presidency.. Rush Limbaugh's ratings might slip a bit after that....LOL.

  1. I don't understand why the whole country is so upset because Obama went to church with a wack job and yet they are turning their vote to a wack job liar like Clinton. She lies so easily that she is almost indignent when she is called on a lie. The tap dance over Bosnia was rediculus. She acted almost as if she expected everyone to appoligize to her for catching her in a lie. That is true elitism.
