Obama logo very short-lived

It's one and done.

For Barack Obama's campaign logo, that is.

Unveiled Friday for a meeting with Democratic governors, the logo looked suspiciously like the presidential seal -- and it was almost universally panned as a tad too presumptuous, among other sins.

"That was a one time thing for a one time event," Obama communications director Robert Gibbs told CNN today.

Featuring the same eagle holding an olive branch in one set of talons and spears in the other, it also boasted its own Latin saying, a rough translation of "Yes We Can," his ubiquitous campaign slogan.
