McCain gets clean bill of health

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor July 29, 2008 07:19 PM

John McCain's doctors just announced that the mole-like growth removed yesterday is benign.

"The biopsy that was performed did not show any evidence of skin cancer. No further treatment is necessary," the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Ariz., said in a statement issued by the McCain campaign.

McCain, who has survived four bouts of melanoma, had the piece of skin excised from the right side of his face during a routine exam on Monday.

  1. Ok first off I dont want McCain to die, i just dont want him to be president.....

But i have heard more stories about his health and his continuous battle with skin cancer and other things......it seems he has more health problems than Dick Cheney.....

heres another question I have, if McCain needs his health insurance so much, why does his health care policy lack so many solutions and discourage group healthcare coverage that you get at your work.....also that it provides no way to reduce costs of current health insurance companies......his policy provides a tax incentive, that is regulated by your income and other factors, for up to $4000 per familly.......it also does not address the issues of unfair, sexist, racist and preconditional discrimination that the health insurance companies are protected by..........

  1. The biopsy relates only to the skin sample; the headline suggests a wider health clearance, and is therefore an unwarrantable conclusion. We just don't know.
