Republicans parody Obama Berlin speech
Republicans just put out a parody of what a campaign ad featuring Barack Obama's massive speech in Berlin might look like.
The biggest public event of Obama's foreign tour, Obama's address last week drew an estimated 200,000 people and wall-to-wall media coverage.
The Republican National Committee's web spot picks up on John McCain's campaign officials snarkily referring to Obama as "The One," and suggests that Obama was being grandiose by talking to the "people of Berlin, people of the world."
There's also a mention of another very popular American in Germany, actor David Hasselhoff of "Baywatch" fame, a weird techno music/strobe light effect, and a snippet of Obama's face pasted on Leonardo DiCaprio's in the "king of the world" scene from "Titanic."
