When the Republicans want to hit below the belt they do so and say that they are not doing this at all. They have the right to do the Swift Boat the Dems do not.

I find that this ad is perfectly informative, fair and tells pople that Sen. McCain is not in touch. with the economic reality that the rest of live in. I bet he's never shopped at a store, looked for the lowest price on an item or forstalled economic desicions such as vacations, until later ,because he hasn't had the money.

That is important in terms of regulation of the financial markets treaury policty and so forth.How is government ggoing to trest us?

Whatever, this isn't a attack against Cindy Mccain one bit, but is instead an attack against the hypocrisy of John Mccain trying to present himself as understanding what it's like to struggle in todays economy.

This is overall a very mild ad compared to ones Obama has to put up with such as the Paris Hilton add and the "The One" add. Those were nothing but straight character assassination by turning something that is a positive, The positive view of Obama around the world, into a negative. You don't see Obama turning Mccains show boating military history against him. Mccains camp has not a single inch to talk.

HA HA HA that's funny....McCain can have Obama compared to Moses and Paris Hilton but gets up set when he's shown living the good life

There is a lot more to find out about the lavish live style of the Mc. Cains. Please remember this family never had to struggle to make ends meet and they do not have to worry about today's economic developments caused by the credit crunch; YES, caused by the greed of the men at the top of the financial system, that raked in much more than the five million a year you need to join the non-taxed chosen few, classified 'rich' according to Mc. Rich. To me, all income should be, progressively, taxed and the strongest shoulders should carry the highest burden. You are blessed if you are 'allowed' to pay a lot of taxes (that's something else than 'high' taxes) because if you pay a lot you make a lot. If you make a lot you can pay for your home, your kid's study, your health care your petrol......... Mc Rich will not fix the economics of the average American, because he does not know what it is all about. Experience, you need experience in making ends meet.

Does ANYONE seriously believe that Obama is a "man of his word"? Recent history has already shown us that he has no qualms about reneging on "his word". It means absolutely nothing.

He promised the Clinton campaign that he'd help wash away her campaign debts - that hasn't and won't happen. He promised that he would use the campaign finance system....until it no longer fit his personal needs. He has changed his stance on just about every single major campaign issue in order to curry favor with labor unions and independents.

All he's concerned about is the White House and his personal agenda. He is THE ONE, remember?

Obama is an old school Chicago street politician. He warmed up to William The Terrorist Ayers as he was getting his start on the political scene and put all ethics and morals aside in doing so. He threw his white grandmother under the bus by calling her a "typical white old lady" scared of black folk walking towards her across the street.

Obama is the scariest politician in recent memory. What a pathetic little man.

I am really disapointed that voters care about this stuff. Whether it is republicans claiming Obama is elitist because he went to Ivy League schools, or Democrats saying McCain is out of touch because he grew up with an Admiral father and grandfather, went to private schools and had high ranking navel officers meeting with him when he went to the academy. It is clear that we don't want a "regular guy" as president, the job is much too difficult for a regular guy to handle. Of course we have the media and the campaigns themselves to blame for constantly focusing on nonsense instead of issues of substance.

What we need to look at is what does America need right now. If you believe that America is doing just fine and you want someone that will continue running America in a "steady as she goes" mode then McCain is probably your guy. If you believe that America is at a crossroads, where we need to make some serious changes in how we do things, or continue down a path that has at it's end an America that is no longer a super power, then Obama is a better choice. But regardless what you believe, the cost of McCain's shoes or the number of houses he owns, or the fact that Obama is good at basketball but not bowling, are not reasons for voting one way or the other.

McCain thinks that $5million per year is the "rich" threshold.
McCain's campaign doesn't think tire inflation helps fuel economy.
McCain's campaign thinks the cone of silence is unnecessary.

well, Cindy McCain and John McCain said he "would run a CLEAN" campaign, that he would "not get into personal attacks", and "would stick to the issues" McCain has done NONE of these, his personal attacks have been dispicable and he talks more about Senator Obama than he does about the issues!! And his surrogates have the gall to criticize this AD?? Compare it to McCain's ADS, and you'll find this VERY TRUE and mild!

WOW, the McCain camp has convinced itself that McCain's VietNam service and POW status have qualified for POTUS!! The guy actually has nothing else going for him so they have to keep "DRILLING" The VietNam War and his POW years. Gee, folks, just what qualifications did McCain acquire in Nam?? He was a mediocre performer, crashed several planes, almost totally destroyed an Aircraftcarrier and killed 135 comrades because of his wrecklessness and his belief he was "macho"!! His ads on tV are complete lies, stating that he will stand up to Big Oil, who happens to pour big money into his campaign. I urge voters to look for the truth. If people are happy with the economy, destruction of the environment, the rich getting richer, constant wars, lies, cheating then John McCain is your man.

That's a great ad... and it doesn't attack Cindy in my view. She's making a statement about how you MUST get around in Arizona, she said it and nobdy put the words in her mouth. Besides anyone who's ever been to Arizona knows they only have unpaved roads in that State. I think they lost out on Federal Road Funding for not accepting MLK's b-day as a holiday? And while he's parading his pow past, McCain doesn't care enough about the present military to support an improved GI bill, a bill that Obama supported. So much for his concern for the military.

He wants to make the Bush tax cuts for the rich and the corporations permanent although our government is deeply in the red. I guess McCain was right when he said that he knew "nothing" about economics.

The man is so out of touch perhaps what he really needs is a long rest at a retirement home -- he can always afford another home.

Obama did a land deal with Tony Rezko while Rezko was under investigation. Rezko had been in the papers for three years as a crook in chicago.

Michelle Obama said she would use the 600 dollar rebate check on earrings. No one in the media jumped on her.

McCain needs someone like Lieberman to be able to govern the country. McCain can't tell a Sunni and Shia (or Shiite), does not know Putin is the Prime minister of Russia (not the president of Germany), and Czechoslovakia is no longer a country. He can’t even remember the number of houses he owns!!!!

Liberman has infiltrated the Republican party because he knows he'll be able to control McCain--whether he is picked as the VP or not. Right now he has complete control of McCain. I feel sorry for the Republicans--the only thing worse than 8 years of Bush is Lieberman for four years.

But in typical Repug form, McCain has stooped even lower with his Rezko ad. It's totally baseless and again deliberately distorts what happened. Obama buys a house at market price. Rezko's wife buys the lot next to it. Obama decides he needs a driveway and asks Rezko's wife to sell him 10 ft. of land. Obama and Rezko's wife agree to a fair price, and Obama buys the 10 ft. of land and builds a driveway. Where's the evil conduct? It's not there. The best they can do is say that Obama wrote a letter supporting a Rezko housing project for low income senior citizens. That project was actually very successful, was widely supported, and helped a lot of low income senior citizens out. Sure Rezko did some bad things, and later got in trouble, but did Obama have anything to do with that? Of course not! Notice McShame's ad doesn't even attempt to state any facts supporting that claim. If Obama had been involved in Rezko's mischief, don't you think McCain and his smear team would say so? It's not there, so McCain and his smear artists are left with throwing out innuendos hoping that YOU come to the conclusion that they can't substantiate. Again, they're pathetic. Totally pathetic.

I read in a respected national publication that the new threshold of "rich" was 5 million dollars. I think M was just responding using that data.

I would like to know why Obama didn't join the military as a young man? it is a simple question to be posed to mr. obama.

It is to bad for the American people that we have such unqualified candidates in both parties. Obama has only 173 days experience as a senator and has the people convinced that he is going to change the world, restore the economy and help people move up to the middle class. Everywhere Obama preaches there are thousands that gather around to listen to his big plans for change. They want to hold his hand and touch him as he walks by as others are crying tears of joy. Give me a break! this guy is not a 21st century profit. John Mcaine is in his early 70's and gives the impression that he is not to serious about his campain. His choice of VP wasn't the best move he made. We would be one heart attack away from having a woman running this country. All the young voters out there think that if Obamba becomes president there will be lots of free handouts, free college , free medical, no taxes, bla bla bla. He wants to give 60 Billion of your tax dollars to third world countries. Both candidates still don't realize that the US government is broke and the dollar is worth half of what it was 5 years ago. The last 2 presidents did a great job in bankrupting this country. The Clintons gave away our economy to China causing millions of jobs to go by by. Bush created a war we didn't need
costing Trillions and the price of oil to triple not to mention the administrations lack of ability to control the savings and loan industry costing another Trillion. Neither candidate is going to do a damn thing for this country but will tell the people what they want to hear, Obama just happens to be better at it.
