McCain ad quotes Biden bashing Obama

John McCain is already up with a TV ad today using some of Senator Joe Biden's comments against the new Democratic ticket.

"What does Barack Obama's running mate say about Barack Obama?" the announcer asks.
The ad then shows ABC'S George Stephanopoulos asking Biden during a debate while he was still contesting Obama for the nomination: "You were asked, 'Is he ready?' You said, 'I think he can be ready but right now, I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.'

"I think that I stand by the statement," Biden is shown replying.

"And what does he say about John McCain?" the announcer asks.

"I would be honored to run with or against John McCain, because I think the country would be better off," Biden is shown replying .

  1. Wow, the McCain campaign found a disparaging comment made by someone competing AGAINST Obama for the nomination. Those guys are geniuses.

    I wish both candidates would focus on what THEY are going to do rather than on what they want us to believe their opponent will do.

  1. John McCain is using the very guys who swift boated him about his black child in 2004.....How do you hired someone who smeared your Child....you do it so the same scum that black balled you will now black ball Obama for You.
    John McCain has sunk so low he is now pond scum...I thought he was at the vest least a civil human, but no he is just palin pond scum

  1. hmmm . . . It's a shame we didn't see an Obama-Gore ticket. Gore is so articulate and intelligent and experienced. That would have been utter amazement to experience. Palin would be scared out of her mind for that VP debate. Instead the Dems went with Biden who suffers from foot-in-mouth disease. The man who comes off arrogant, racist, and un-feeling. Both candidates made awful VP picks. Just awful.
