Nader thanks supporters

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor August 22, 2008 08:26 PM

Independent Ralph Nader is up with a reggae-soundtrack video that thanks supporters for helping him get on the ballots on dozens of states.

The video has fireworks bursting as text appears with the signatures needed in each state, and how many his campaign collected.

Nader says that he is on track to be on the ballots of 45 states by Sept. 20.

  1. Yes, as a Nader supporter thank you guys and girls for putting in the work and making his candidacy a viable one.

    Seriously. I appreciate your efforts.

And thank you, Ralph, for running again. And giving me hope.

We have a lot of work ahead of us, and we're going to have to fight, bite, scrap, and claw our way to victory. There will be down times, and moments of discouragement for sure, but keep your heads up, as tomorrow is always a different day.

Remember, as much negativy that comes our way, we have right on our side.

Let's fight harder than ever now!!!!

  1. Being a volunteer for the Nader Campaign has been the most rewarding experience of my life.

I have the satisfaction of knowing that I am contributing to one of the most important campaigns in the history of this nation.

We are at a crossroads of what true Democracy is all about. Nader is the voice of the people and we need him to be heard.

Our two party system is broken beyond repair, corporations running amuck and we have an administration who is shredding our Constitution. This nation must return to a government of the people by the people and for the people.
