Paltrow urges Democrats to vote from abroad

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor August 4, 2008 05:07 PM

Democrats Abroad is calling on a famous expat -- along with many not-so famous ones -- to urge Americans abroad to vote -- and to vote for Barack Obama.

Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress who did star turns as British characters in "Emma" and "Shakespeare in Love,"
has more of a bit part in a web video that emphasizes the ease and importance of voting.

"Start now, right now," says Paltrow, who is married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin and lives part-time in England. "I'll be voting from London. But you can vote from anywhere."

"Vote Democrat. Vote Obama. Vote from abroad," its says on the screen at the end.

  1. Do you ex-pats realize what a PHONEY Barack Obama is? On July 31 this was written (on this blog actually) about his stance about off-shore oil drilling:

"With polls indicating that most Americans favor more offshore oil drilling to help ease energy prices, the antiwar group MoveOn.org is trying to help Democrat Barack Obama fight back on the issue.

Obama opposes lifting the federal ban on offshore drilling, calling it a gimmick. Republican John McCain, however, strongly supports it, reversing his stand from the 2000 presidential race, and has been hammering Obama on the issue."

So, Obama goes from calling this solution a "gimmick" to now it's the perfect answer to all our energy problems. All in a matter of 48 hours. He only abandons his believes when it becomes politically expendient for him. What a dam hypocrite! He does not deserve to be our President. He can't keep waffleing on issues. Soon he'll come out and say that abortion is not ok in any instance. We can not trust this fake!!!

Obama will say and do ANYTHING to get elected. Is that what you want???

    WAKE UP !!!!

  1. I like Gwen Paltrow, but no, I won't vote for Obama. Expats often can't get the whole picture, but believe me, you should NOT vote for Obama! He is a dangerous phony candidate.
