John McCain's campaign is back with a reprise of the much-dissected "The One" video about Barack Obama -- this one updated to lead into his formal nomination in Denver.

The video mocks what McCain's campaign sees as Obama's self-importance and messianic complex.

It repeats the scene of Charlton Heston parting the Red Sea from the original video, then juxtaposes it with new images of Obama body surfing in Hawaii.

The video adds a quote from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who called Obama, "a leader that God has blessed us with at this time."

"His hand guides the world," the announcer says, before audio of Governor Tim Kaine of Virginia saying that he's glad that Russian leaders heeded Obama's call for a cease-fire in Georgia.

"In Denver, you will see the light," the announcer continues.

"He may be 'The One,' but is he ready to lead?" the announcer concludes, answering, "No."

Brian Rogers, a McCain spokesman, said in an email that the new video is "back by popular demand," but it could also serve to siphon some attention from Democrats' fusillade of attacks today on McCain saying he doesn't know how many houses he owns.

The original video was deconstructed and analyzed by some Christian Democrats, who say it cast Obama as the antichrist.
