With Barack Obama on a week-long family vacation in Hawaii, the Republican National Committee can't help itself.
It's sending daily "Barack Obama's Hawaii Travel Guide" updates, a compilation of news reports tracking his every move on the islands.
For instance on Monday, besides appearing before cameras to denounce the Russian invasion of Georgia, he was spotted coming out of "Dark Knight," the new Batman movie. Obama recently named Batman and Spider-man as his favorite superheroes, citing their 'inner turmoil,' the RNC added helpfully.
He then ate dinner at the “posh” Mariposa restaurant, perched on the third floor of the Neiman Marcus department store with an ocean view, according to another sighting.
Are you kidding me!?!?
This phoney baloney is taking week long vacations in St Thomas and Hawaii while we struggle to buy groceries, put fuel in our tanks and pay outrageous taxes?
He's as out of touch with the issues that strangle us as any Bush or Kerry or Gore ever was.
This empty suit is taking us for a ride!!
I can't wait to send another $50 of my hard-earned $$ so that The One can enjoy all that Hawaii and St Thomas have to offer for a family vacation.
I first thought he was going to be so different and offer refreshing change and hope. I went to his rallies and cheered and swooned over him. I saw him as having a better chance than the Clintonistas in regaining the White House.
I've been fooled!

What is wrong with taking a vacation with your family after months of very long hard days on the campaign trail?
Obama has his roots in Hawaii...and is certainly entitled to return there to thank his friends and supporters, and pay respect to his elderly grandmother who raised him.

Kathleen - aaahhh yes, Grandma Obama. Isn't that the same lovely lady who raised Barack and was later thrown under the bus by him? Don't you remember anything from the primaries? Doesn't the whole Rev Wright episode ring a bell with you?
Obama: "The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. But she is a typical white person. If she sees someone on the street that she doesn't know....there's a reaction in her that doesn't go away and it comes out in the wrong way."
TYPICAL WHITE PERSON??? What kind of Malcolm X racist remark is that? From a presidential candidate no less. That's sickening.
Why should Obama be using campaign funds for his family vacation??????
Or how about this grandma Obama?
On 12/28/07 Obama stated: "It's that experience, it's that understanding, not just of the world leaders I went and talked to in the ambassador's house, but understanding the lives of the people like my grandmother who lives in a hut in Africa."
So, why aren't the nouveaux riche Obamas taking care of their hut-living grandma???
Your candidate is arrogant, pretentious and self-centered. He has ZIPPO concerns for anyone else.
