Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden will sandwich fund-raising stops Wednesday in Boston and Holyoke around his planned campaign trip to New Hampshire, a battleground state.

Biden is scheduled to arrive in Boston at 11 a.m. for a reception followed by a noon luncheon, both at the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel, according to Alan Solomont, chairman of the New England steering committee of Barack Obama's campaign.

After stumping in New Hampshire, Biden will head to the Log Cabin in Holyoke for another fund-raising event. Solomont said he expects the events to attract a mix of large and smaller-dollar donors.

  1. Who in the world is Joe Biden????

Oh yeah, he's the other VP candidate who's been left on the sidelines during this exciting presidential race.

He's also the old school Democratic and part of the leadership of the Democratic dominated Congress responsible for putting the country in the mess that it's in.

  1. You are an idiot. Congress has only been Democratic for about 2yrs now. The Republicans are the ones that have been making the mess.

  1. The Dems are responsible for this mess? Oh, that's rich. You must work for the McCain campaign. What do you get, .25 per lie posted? Spammers have found a new home with McSame.

  1. I think you meant - John who? Hmm, the republican president that has been in office for 8 years isn't resposonsible for puttijng the country in the mess it is? Republican's never take responsibility for their actions. That is why Palin is so inticing.

  1. Becoming a student of what is expected of good government takes energy. Try it and you might find it is not what has happened in the last eight years in the White House nor what Ms Palin did in Alaska. In both cases it was doing as the top dog wanted with no questions asked. The congress in Alaska meets for 90 days with plenty of time for mischief.
Not time for more of the same!

  1. President: Republican, last 8 years
Congress: Republican, 6 of of 8 last years

Who is more responsible for the mess we're in?

What douche "Who's Joe B?" is.

  1. McSame?

You obviously don't have the faintest clue to John McCains record. He is one of the last senetors you could consider a "conformist".

Picking Biden is another sign that Obama doesn't know what the hell he is doing, and taking direction from the rest of the Demo party.

Here are some of Joe Biden's better moments:

Assisting the credit card industry win passage of a law making it harder for consumers to file for bankruptcy protection, while his son had a consulting agreement that lasted five years with one of the largest companies pushing for the changes…

Biden applies for, and is granted FIVE Veitnam draft deferments, citing asthma as his problem. However, he makes no mention of this in his memoirs which detail his high school Football highlights, and his accomplishments as a swimmer and lifeguard.

Biden also HAS TIES TO TONY RESKO, through his 1998 campaign field manager Joseph Cari, who admitted being part of a $850K kickback scheme for which Rezko was later convicted.

If you want a President who will think for himself and change Washington for the better, VOTE FOR McCAIN

  1. You liberals are all the same, free healthcare for the people that dont work, high taxes for those that do work. Congress is liberal right now and ranks LAST in approval rating in the history of The Untied States... They sure did get the country back on track huh?

Maybe we all should inflate our tires and save gas $$ right? Morons.

  1. Hey Hocky Mom, you're totally right about the Repubs and Responsiblity.

Just like Kennedy and Johnson took responsbility for Vietnam

Carter took responsiblity for double digit interest rates, & unemployment,

and Slick Willy "did not have sexual relations with that women..." then dodged all questions on how Al-Qieda was able to build up during his term, and attack us.

I think its time for the Republicans to take responsibility!!

  1. Shawn,

Go back to civics class and learn it this time.

    Thanks,

  1. Joe Biden - a great candidate - a great liberal - and I am proud to be a Democrat. The Republicans are playing the cynical card as usual this year - choosing Palin with a straight face. She is the lowest common denominator; holds views that are completely against women; and is a throwback to the Dark Ages.

God forbid that this country elects McCain/Palin. We shall be lost for years and years and years and leave NOTHING to our children.

  1. Don't even respond to any Republican moron on this site. They are done. Concentrate on enjoying yourselves. Our boys haven't even started yet on these insult-to-America's-intelligence Republican candidates. It's going to be bad. Real bad.
