Nader: 'Hack' the debate
Since Ralph Nader wasn't invited to tonight's presidential debate, his campaign is urging supporters to push his message by posting to the numerous websites and blogs accepting comments.
"Want to join in?" the Nader campaign said in an email this evening. "This is what you need to do. Fire up your computer by 9 p.m. EST. Dozens of online websites will allow for live blogging from around the world.
"Here's your chance to make your points heard for Nader/Gonzalez. You can weigh in on substantive issues like the war in Iraq, the threats to Iran, the Israeli/Palestinian issue, the bloated wasteful military budget. You can raise concerns like why Ralph is being excluded from the debates."
Nader, himself, is in Los Angeles, preparing to appear tonight on "The Bill Maher Show" on HBO. The veteran consumer activist who is running as an independent for the second election in a row after being the Green Party nominee in 2000.

Grassroots, baby!
I support Nader 2008.
Now is time for all good men and women to come to the aid of the people and join with Ralph Nader!
The Commission is not a serious business. You would think that they would want Nader to be in the Debates. It is odd that there is no way to contact these Democrats and Republicans that have excluded Nader and no reporter that I have seen has talked about this fraud on the American Public. What are the candidates afraid of?
McCain says he wants a Town Hall meeting, well will he Debate Nader? It seems that it would be in his best interest. The media will remain partisan to the two party system and not be a platform for reform. Will any of the talk shows allow a debate on their show? Let Nader debate, encourage debate.
I'm only sorry I have a prior commitment and won't be able to help with this tonight--but next debate for sure.
Nader/Gonzalez 2008!
Ralph Nader is an honest man with a proven track record of helping the working middle class American people. My vote is with Ralph Nader!
I love it.
Tonight was just one more reason to vote for Ralph Nader. When
asked about the $700 Wall Street bailout neither Obama nor McCain
could give a simple "yes" or "no". They lack the moral courage to
take a stand against this shameful payment to the Welfare Queens of
Wall Street. They both talked for 5 minutes about a lot of nothing and
that's the way they'll run the country - with a lot of useless conversation
which won't do anything for the American people. Ralph Nader is right-
you're kidding yourself if you think there's a difference in the 2 parties.
Let Ralph debate - come on, give democracy a try!
This year more than any other, it is important to vote for Nader. McCain is no Bush, and Obama no great leader in himself. Nader is the only option. Now, I'll be voting a straight Democratic ticket and then Nader at the top, because I generally like Democrats better than Republicans, but Nader is the only prez candidate who has earned my vote.
I think Obama can thank Nader for helping him get the Democratic presidential nomination, because I think the Democratic Party learned that running "centrist" candidates like the Clintons incurs the risk of the party losing progressive voters. The question is, are progressives who support Obama being taken for a ride? And is Nader a "good guy", or is he a slick operator who has engaged in ethically questionable and high-handed behavior while leading his consumer movement? There are no easy choices.....
Ralph Nader saw the financial mess we are in decades ago. Regulation of the marketplace has been his mantra. Both parties express shock about thr bailout. They saw the handwriting in the wall and did nothing. We need honesty from our politicians. I am a life long Democrat, but out of protest i am voting for Ralph Nader. Both parties lie to the American public. Both talf about tax cuts. Who is going to pay for this financial mess. Who is paying for this war. Oh well, just print more money.
