The Globe's Michael Paulson reports on his religion blog that Barack Obama is still struggling to attract Jewish voters, compared to past Democratic presidential candidates.

.....and, I'm sure, race has absolutely nothing to do with it.
It must be race right. The only racist is Obama. Don't know why any american would vote for a man with such shady friends.
I am not Jewish, however, if I was I would not be voting for someone who is willing to meet with "I'm-a-nut-job" President of Iran (who wants to wipe Israel off the face of the map and proclaim death to America) and meet with him without preconditions. As an American, I could not vote for this smooth talker who has no real executive experience, has dubious affiliations with corrupt men in high positions who support his campaign, who writes in his book that he would support muslims when push comes to shove, who doesn't understand how the economy works, and puts his campaign ahead of working on the American debacle at hand. If he does get in office, frankly, I am scared for this nation; mark my words he is evil.
Could it be that some Jews still believe Obama is naive? Although he picked Biden, he is willing to sit down with the little guy from Iran with some preparations( he now says). This guy visits the US and dissed Israel with his foul adjectives, and Obama wants to have tea with him. In addition, some Jews have heard Obama's pastor rants against them, and wonder how could this candidate sit there for 20 years and not be indoctrinated. Hopefully no one is using Obama's father muslim religion against him because he hardly knows the man.
.....because we all know that Jews are racist against all black candidates. I can't wait to see Farrakhan up there on the podium with Obama when Barack takes the oath of office! That'll fix you!!
