Police group backs Obama

The National Association of Police Associations endorsed Barack Obama and Joe Biden today.
"We know [that] crime is not a local problem like the other campaign has identified,” said Thomas J. Nee, the group's president, who also heads the Boston Police Patrolmen's Association.
"It’s time to mow the lawn again, it’s time to get back to dealing with homeland security because it all begins at home," Nee said on a conference call with reporters.
The group endorsed Democrats John F. Kerry in 2004 and Al Gore in 2000 and claims membership of 2,000 police unions and associations, including 238,000 sworn law enforcement officers and 11,000 retired officers.
Funny, the people we ask to protect us and are in the line of fire picked Obama over McSame. I think it is time for us to Listen to these officers

Yawwwwnnnn.....they're a UNION, surprise surprise.
Any union is going to endorse Obama as The One will just fill their coffers.
Obama has promised to put into law the unAmerican legislation called The Employee Free Choice Act. There is nothing Free or Choice about that law. It means that no longer will employees have the right to make a secret ballot in a unionizing election. All the Union has to do is badger and threaten employees to sign a union election card and the union is automatically elected. Go look it up. Do your research.
No longer will signing a union election card mean that you agree there should be a secret ballot election. No longer will you have a CHOICE to decide whether or not to pay hefty union dues to money grubbing union leaders.
Obama is born and bred of the Chicago Union Machine. He OWES the unions his political life.
Obama HATES the American way of life. That's why he wants to CHANGE everything that America stands for.
Obama believes in destroying this country from within!!!
Obama backs the Employee Free Choice Act which would take away your right to hold an election with secret ballots.
This is why unions love Obama.
Obama believes in intimidating the voter to vote his way. That's how he got elected to the Ilinois State Legislature. He went after his opponents and made them drop out with threats and legal technicalities.
In my 31 years of police service, I was astounded at some of the candidates my union chose to support.. After they had thrown their support to Al Gore (you know, the inventor of the internet), I wondered to myself how he would have reacted to the events of 9/11. Then they chose to endorse the Kerry/Edwards ticket, both of whom had "a plan" for each of the ills of our society. However, neither could elaborate on any of those supposed "plans". I'm guessing that supporting the Democrats is "the union thing to do".
Now cometh the Savior, Barack. Does anyone really believe he is the answer? In my heart of hearts, I believe he is part of a larger plot to subvert the government of this country. I will never believe that in 20 plus years, he never heard Reverend Wrigbht damning this this country. Nor will I believe that he wasn't aware of Wiilliam Ayers Past.
