Video: In N.H., Obama seeks to fire up campaign

At today's rally in Manchester, N.H., Barack Obama continued his new, aggressive approach against rival John McCain, while voters in the battleground state eyed the upcoming election. Click play to watch the video.

Scott Helman, the reporter in this piece states that, in terms of voters who list issues as their top priority, Obama has a "pretty wide advantage" over McCain since he talks about issues, clearly implying that McCain isn't (talking about issues). No surprise here. It's the classic liberal metier; present your opinion as fact with the blatant implication that those on the other side are either fools or miscreants.

    In point of fact, John McCain is currently ahead in the polls, enjoying a narrow advantage over Obama. And no poll was ever cited in this report showing voters who list issues as their top priority actually favor Obama. So, political reporting being what it is these days, I think Scott should get paid a rate from the Obama campaign commensurate with his "pay grade" at the Globe.
