Where's that GPS unit when you need it
Democrats are trying to make hay of Sarah Palin flubbing where she was speaking today, referring to Grand Rapids -- the Michigan city where the Republican ticket was Wednesday night for a town hall meeting -- for Cedar Rapids, the Iowa town and site of today's rally.
But they might not want to go there.
Their standard-bearer Barack Obama, of course, has had his share of geographic miscues during the long campaign.
In May, he declared, "Thank you Sioux City!" That would be in Iowa.
Unfortunately, he was Sioux Falls in South Dakota. That came about a week after Obama told a campaign crowd in Oregon that he had already visited 57 states.
And just this week, Obama said it was great to be back in Denver, when he was more than 100 miles south in Pueblo, Colo.

I believe Jesus was a carpenter...
I'm so tired of the down right lies that are being told.. and for the most part, the democrats are trying to say they are not being negative, that only the republicans are. However, since the conventions, democrats have put out ads, and 77% of them have been negative. Now.. THAT is enough. If you have to lie, then you obviously have something to hide.
He is a lawyer, isn't he ?
Lawyers study law. It would be good to have an administration which understands the laws and constitution of our country, and doesn't simply do whatever it wants without regard for law. This is a republic of free citizens because we have rule of law, as opposed to an oligarchy (Russia) where leaders are pretty much free to put unqualified pals in positions of power and patronize the highest (oil anyone?) bidder. We can continue down the road to loss of democratic freedoms or rediscover the basic premise of the United States: One nation with liberty and justice for all.
Vote Obama
Why shouldn't they go there? If the Republicans can make hay of Obama's flubs, then fair's fair. You're not suggesting they give Palin a free ride, are you? That would be sexist.
