On the road, together again
Sarah Palin and John McCain are back together again after a weekend of sniping between their advisers.
In a joint event in Hershey, Pa., Palin gave her usual litany of praise for her running mate as a hero and a maverick.
They hugged and after Palin introduced him, McCain motioned toward her and said, "Isn't this just going to be a marvelous vice president of the United States of America?"
There was no public mention of McCain's advisers -- anonymously, of course -- calling her a "diva" and accusing her of being a "rogue" candidate by going so off-message and looking out for her own political future.
But McCain did say, "When two mavericks join up, we don't agree on everything, but that's a lot of fun."
Barack Obama is also in Pennsylvania today, defending a Democratic-leaning state that McCain is focusing on.

A sure sign of a campaign in trouble is when the back office starts the blame game.
Can anyone not see that Palin is such a diva, she is completely and utterly unqualified to be Vice-President.
Palin is unqualified to be Vice-President, so we better go ahead and vote for Obama for president even though he is less qualified than her. You have great logic IndependentsforObama08.
I kind of feel sorry for the guy....he gives Palin a chance and she throws him under the bus. In an interview on FAUX news, Palin said "her camp" would communicate with McCain's "camp" over the next few days regarding issues. Huh? My money is on Palin hosting some sort of reality show in the future and not furthering her political career once she's voted out of office in Alaska. Her own states' largest newspaper, the Anchorage Daily News endorsed Obama.
Are they serious here? Two mavericks and they don't agree on anything? Why don't we just have Barack & McCain run the country together then? What's the difference if his own candidate doesn't agree with him? She needs to go back home and tend to her family and shop in her thrift stores. I could never understand how she could leave her child every day when he needs his mom now and has special needs? Not a good image of a mom of any kind soccer, hockey or anything.
Danterman your logic train never left the station.
Obama has more experience than Palin, hands down. More foreign affair, more economic, more national, more political and more in almost every way possible.
You foolishly discribe to the republican agenda and could not see how much crap they throw out.
Dantherman, you are the problem, not the solution
