Palin on Fox News Channel, again

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor October 7, 2008 07:44 PM

In her latest TV interview, Sarah Palin compares herself to a race car driver and appears to avoid the flubs that marred her appearances with Katie Couric of CBS.

The Republican vice presidential candidate tells Greta Van Susteren of Fox News Channel that John McCain is a "kindred spirit" and passes on an opportunity to criticize Democrat Barack Obama in regard to the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., the former pastor at his Chicago church, or Father Michael Pfleger, who mocked Hillary Clinton from the church's pulpit.

She continues to go after Obama on his association with William Ayers, who helped start a radical group that bombed government buildings in the early 1970s. They met in the Chicago nonprofit world two decades later.

"It's kind of telling regarding someone's judgment that they would working with, associated with a domestic terrorist who had campaigned to bomb the United States Senate and our Pentagon and this is an unrepentant domestic terrorist. That's the scary part about it!" Palin said in the interview, which is to air Wednesday night.

Palin also had some harsh words the Bush administration in pledging that she and McCain would rein in government spending. "Well, I think they have allowed government growth to just be too rampant, too aggressive and certainly that's contributing to where we are today with this deficit, handing this to our kids, that's unfair. We're going to stop that," she said, according to a transcript released this evening by Fox News.

She emphasized that she would play a key role in energy independence in a McCain administration.

And asked about her hectic campaign schedule, Palin said, "Like Mario Andretti said, though, if everything is under control, you're going too slow. And we're not going too slow and all is well."

Van Susteren mentioned that Palin is a mother of five, and Palin added, "I know a lot of moms who are busier than I am. They are running all over also and a lot of these home-school moms, too. They are teaching their kids in addition to doing everything else. And -- no, I'm not unique in this at all."

America, please don't allow your greatness to go down the drain. You know who is qualified as the next President. McCain is the man. I believe he will run the country well on this difficult situation. Obama? I'm afraid he will lead America to disaster.
He has no experience whatsoever. He will just be easily beaten by Russia's leader, Iran and other terrorist regime. Palin will jell well with McCain. Do not listen to the opinion of the few who wants to destroy our great country. America wake up!Let's go out and vote and save our beloved country.

NEWS CONFERENCES FOR SARAH PALIN PLEASE. When she has a news conference with the national press corp,(Not Fox Noise), she will have credibility. She must be put in front of the press corp to answer tough questions from the media and to defend her record. Without news conferences, she should be ignored!!

To skmj.

You should write for Saturday Night Live for you made me laugh a great deal.
The women you are talking about have a brain that works...
Need I say more?
Oh, maybe I should. Sarah Palin did a speech that was written for her at the GOP convention that Triumph The insult dog could have read and yes people whould fall in love with him as well..

Fox is the only channel willing to lower its journalistic standards low enough to not test Sarah's IQ. They probably give her canned questions so she can read the answers and then are careful to not test her thinking powers by asking tough - no real - no any questions of significance. Of course she goes on Fox as Katie is too rough... Sad isn't it. I dare any Fox Anchor to really question her and prove you are real. I wonder if this is why Hannity quit? Does anyone realize that "We have lots of Oil in Alaska Sarah" doesn't even know that all that oil would last the US about 1 year . Some energy independence... Its bad. Really bad. If she ran our energy policy we would lose Florida to Antartica melting.

Notice how Greta looks really embarrassed about being the new Mrs Shaun Hannity...even more insidious because she conned us into thinking she had a brain. How do these people sleep at night. They wouldn't survive a day in the media in any other country...they would be a laughing stock. How do they get away with it

An utter disgrace who has no business running for a major national office. She is certainly the most unqualifed person to ever run for Vice President on any ticket - - ever.

I am amazed how people are fooled by Obama....blinded somehow in thinnking he will save the world....scary....all of this stuff about his prior relationships DO NEED ANSWERED....UPBRINGING, AYERS, J.WRIGHT, FLAGLE, ACORN, RIZKO.....THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE PUBLIC WANTING TO KNOW THIS HISTORY AFTER ALL OUR HISTORY IS OUR LIFE STORY. WE CAN'T CHANGE OUR STORY BUT OUR STORY CAN BE READ BY OTHERS......OBAMAS STORY IS SUSPCIOUS, UNTRUTHFULL, SECRETIVE, ARROGANT,,,,,,,,SARA PALINS STORY IS HOPE, VALUES,,HARD WORK, INTEGRETY. mCcAINS STORY IS BRAVERY, HONESTY, WISDOM, COURAGE....SO OUR STORY IS REALLY ALL WE HAVE THAT CAN BE READ.

Amazing: fact vs. fiction. An entire 40% of the US electorate bases its decisoin on fiction, including a purely fictional character created to attract the "low information voter" at the "base" of an entire political platform.

What a "base" to be proud of! A platform build on ignorance and religious irrationality.

Now what did you say is DANGEROUS?

My, my ,we find the little kids that worked for McCain are throwing stones at Palin because they were not raised with her her class but raised in the DC or official political dodo. Me thinks they doth complain to much. They have another agenda I am sure. As to what it is who knows? Wonder what they will do when they won't be working when she will be running. Gee how do you spell (naitsirhc) actions. [christian]
