RNC returns to Rezko

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor October 22, 2008 07:01 PM

After weeks of 1970s radical William Ayers, it's back to Tony Rezko again.

The Republican National Committee launched a two-minute web video today that details Barack Obama's relationship with Rezko, a former fund-raiser and political patron who was convicted this year on federal corruption charges not involving Obama.

It includes audio of Obama calling a "boneheaded move" getting involved with Rezko in a deal on buying his Chicago home. "I can sort of see a lapse in judgment," he is also heard saying.

"Tony Rezko: Barack Obama's friend, fund-raiser, felon, fault," it says on screen, before ending, hopefully perhaps, "developing."

Why case against Rezko was moved from October 28 to December. Can we believed U.S. Justice?

McCain should go with fake birth cert and secret Muslim stories. Ayers didn't work and probably backfired. Rezko was already tried by Hillary. Buying real estate from a major real estate broker at market value is Obama being a capitalist.

Rafael-Miami, learn English and you can study better. Rezko already had his major case tried. Obama had nothing to do with any of the guilty verdicts. Now Rezko has some pizza business and casino charges that also have nothing to do with Obama. Poor Rezko should have invented some charges against Obama so he could plead down all his charges but either he has too much integrity or really did not crime with Obama.

Ouch-it's Truth, perhaps you should learn english. "or really did not crime with Obama". What is that? Obama had nothing to do with the guilty verdicts, you are correct. But, this again points to the individuals that Obama has surrounded himself with. Crooked Rezko, Terrorist Ayers, Hate mongering Rev. Wright, ACORN- perhaps the biggest case of voter registration and election fraud in the history of the country. The Messiah has dirty hands.

I am from Chicago, business men here knew that Rezko was not good to get involved with for many years, in fact he is tied to Auchi who is an Iraqi billionaire---i suggest you research who Auchi is linked to........
as far as indictment of Obama in relation to Rezko--there may be more to come but regardless......how many men do you know go with a another man to buy property next door to each other---- one of which is a lot........the whole thing is very strange, too bad the media ignores this story and how bizarre it is that 1/3 of Rezko's slums were in Obama's district (11) and Obama did not notice they were run into the ground...........taking money from taxpayers to give to slumlords is not helpful
helpful....although if
