Shamans offer Obama support

It's no secret that Barack Obama enjoys international support. But one group of Peruvian shamans went the extra mile for the Illinois senator this week, offering an incense-filled ceremony on the shores of La Herradura Beach in Lima. Click play below to watch the video.







Despite the ceremonial theatrics, the head of the shamans offered a more historical perspective on the group's support for Obama, according to an AP report.



"'Obama is growing stronger, I've seen that he has the spiritual support of Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy to protect him,' Juan Osco, president of the Apus-Inka healers association, told The Associated Press. 'He's going to win.'"
