Scarves, handbags, T-shirts, oh my

For the Barack Obama fan looking for that perfect accessory to wear on inauguration day, his inaugural committee today unveiled a new designer collection.

It includes a scarf designed by Alexander Wang, handbags from Diane Von Furstenberg and Tory Burch; and T-shirts by Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, Donna Karan, Beyonce, Derek Lam, Rachel Roy, Juicy Couture, and Gerald Matthews.

Available at the inaugural store in Washington and online, the items are somewhat pricey, including a $40 tote bag and T-shirts for $150. The inaugural committee is trying to raise millions in private money to supplement a public grant to pay for all the events.

"These designers have all offered their unique talents and vision to capture the excitement and anticipation around the Inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama," inaugural committee spokesman Brent Colburn said in a statement. "We are very thankful for their designs and grateful for their contributions."
