President Obama hit the mark with me. For a moment in history, not because he is the first African American President, but as A mericans on one accord. Lets work with this man to bring this country back to the forefront. "You are as great as the leader. A man without a vision will go no where. But a man with a vision will soar and make things happen. So let's all work with the same hope and faith. Show the same respect for President Obama as you did for the worse President ever: Bush.. Show the world that, Yes, the United States of America respects her new leader will stand behind him to succeed.

Good address. Wonder why morgages cant be extended to , say 50 years or more
like Japan. This would reduce the payment without Goverment putting money into the pot and would be then fair to all. On the auto problem, it is not just the big two, but all auto makers in America , we often forget all manufactures of autos are creating jobs, so a tax reduction on new vehicles would be fair to all

I'm a skeptic, and rhetoric doesn't fly pass me. I will respect Obama as my President, but he has not convinced me that this stimulus bill will work. How can you actually tell how many jobs are saved? I won't applaud him until his all of his promises come to fruition. For our country's sake I hope he does prove me wrong. Too many questions and not enough answers. I miss Reagan.

This was an utter joke. He can say anything, true or not, and people will say how wonderful it was. The fact is, his facts were either flat out wrong, not able to be proved, or political rhetoric like he is still campaigning.

His mortgage plan is not designed to do what he says it is. And his plan for energy independence is laughable.

Let's see if all of his campaign promises, then and now, are anywhere near the mark.

He is a narcissist, plain and simple. Empty words and theatrical performances won't change a thing about this country. He has no past accomplishments and is only proving that he can direct a circus. Don't believe me? Show up tomorrow for our focus group and we'll break out into small groups and discuss it. As far as the poll by CNN, that is about as reliable as taking ethics lessons from a member of congress.

I was not convinced with what he said. I think what did it for me was when he said that the stimilus bill was "Free of Earmarks" . That was just one obvious lie and you knew it was by hearing congress laughing in the background. I dont believe he has the experiance and "spending our way" out of a recession is not the way to fix it...

I agree with Steve's comment...the flat out lie that the stimilus bill was "free of earmarks" and yes you could hear Congress laughing in the background. People will believe whatever they think they want to hear....truth is not the least bit important anymore. Personally I am sick to death of these politicians thinking we are all so uninformed and down right stupid to go along with all their blatant lies.

Why would you listen to someone who has already lied about so many things, campaign finances, lobbyists in cabinet positions, gun control, hell the most legit person he has in his administration is Hillary.
