The Obama administration announced this morning that Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano will travel to Boston tomorrow to participate in a naturalization ceremony at Fenway Park.
The ceremony is for more than 5,000 new citizens, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Fenway held its first naturalization ceremony in 2008, when 3,032 immigrants stood along the first base line to become new citizens. For the ceremony, the park had to be consecrated as a temporary federal court.
