WASHINGTON -- Here is how New England senators voted in the week that ended Oct. 15. The House was in recess.

SENATE

CORPORATE TAX BREAKS: Voting 69 for and 17 against, the Senate on Oct. 11 sent President Bush the conference report on a 633-page bill (HR 4520) providing $137 billion over 10 years in corporate tax breaks with a $10.1 billion taxpayer-financed buyout of owners of federal tobacco allotments. A yes vote was to approve the conference report.

MASSACHUSETTS Voting yes: None

Voting no: Edward Kennedy, D

Not voting: John Kerry, D

MAINE Voting yes: Olympia Snowe, R
