Climate change, the human dimension With its many low atolls scattered across the Pacific, the tiny nation of Kiribati is uniquely vulnerable to the effects of global warming-induced sea level rise. Under President Anote Tong's leadership, Kiribati recently created the world's largest marine reserve, the Phoenix Islands Protected Area. Tong will speak on the subject, and then join a panel discussion, starting at 5 p.m. at Science Center Lecture Hall D, 1 Oxford St., Cambridge.
