Yet another winter storm -- this one spanning two days -- is expected to dump significant snow across the region this week.

Forecasters say beginning late tomorrow morning, snow is expected to begin falling in the Boston area, accumulating up to five inches before an overnight lull. Then, a second system is predicted to bring heavy snow to the region from early Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

Forecasters are predicting a total snowfall for the area of as much as 20 inches, while areas south of Boston, including the Cape, are expected to receive lower snowfall totals, due to a predicted switchover to rain.
