During Irene, TV reporter's live shot takes a foul turn

For those who ever said reporting isn't as glamorous as it looks, they might want to talk to Tucker Barnes.

The TV reporter for the Washington, D.C. Fox affiliate did a live shot Saturday from the shores of Ocean City, Md., and during the shot was covered in a thick, mysterious foam that was being blown onto shore by Irene's wind gusts.

As the video above shows, Barnes couldn't identify the foam, and described in great detail what it felt -- and even tasted like.

Warning: If you have a sensitive stomach, you might consider skipping the rest of this story.

According to several news reports, including Barnes's own station, that foam was apparently raw sewage that was emptying into the ocean nearby and whipped into a foam by the winds.

We wish Barnes the best, and assume he'll be enduring a tetanus shot or two.
