A 10- to 12-foot great white shark was caught in a photograph among surfers at a beach in San Diego. Its tail fin can be seen in the photo, which was taken earlier this week. Despite a series of recent shark sightings, two miles of beach in the southern California city were open Friday. The great white was the third confirmed shark sighting along the coast in one week.
