The Boston Herald reported today that longtime "Inside Track" columnist Laura Raposa is leaving the paper after 30 years -- the last 21 spent along with Gayle Fee co-writing the column that frequently focused on celebrities and events in the Boston area.

According to the Herald, Raposa will devote time to some of her passions which include cooking and baking as well as historic preservation.

Raposa leaves the Herald as the newspaper is still fighting a lawsuit involving "Inside Track" reporting of details surrounding the 2007 suicide of singer Brad Delp of the famed local band Boston.
