Second house collapses on Plum Island, others condemned
A day after a powerful storm hammered the Bay State, flooding coastal communities and dumping up to 2 feet of snow in some areas, another home has collapsed on Plum Island. Other homes have been condemned, according to multiple sources.
WCVB is reporting that the house tipped onto the beach around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. The house, located at 32 Annapolis Way, is one of several homes that were jeopardized by the high tide and strong winds from the storm off the coast. Another home on Annapolis Way was ripped from its foundation and tipped over shortly after 8:30 a.m. Friday.
