When Jason Koger, 34, had both his hands amputated five years ago after he ran into a downed power line on an ATV, he lost his ability to execute basic daily tasks like putting on clothes. Now, he is testing new prosthetic arms that have motorized thumbs he can program using his iPhone.

He now says he is able to resume some of his former activities, like hunting.

Koger can configure his new hands to different grips, without the help of a prosthetics expert. He received this $100,000 technology for free so he can test its functionality and provide feedback to the designer.
