British author J.K. Rowling lowered the veil this weekend and has come out as "Robert Galbraith," author of "The Cuckoo’s Calling," a well-acclaimed British crime novel.
“I had hoped to keep this secret a little longer because being Robert Galbraith has been such a liberating experience," Rowling told The Times of London.
Rowling is, of course, best known for her work on the "Harry Potter" series.
"The Cuckoo’s Calling" “features a war veteran turned private investigator called Cormoran Strike, [and] was published to critical acclaim in April,” The Times wrote.
The Times said it investigated the author's background and found out that "Galbraith" really was Rowling.
