Fred Hayes and his wife were watching planes land at San Francisco International Airport on July 6 and Hayes filmed Asiana Airlines Flight 214 as it crashed on its approach.

The rear of the plane made impact first, then the nose bounced and the vessel skidded along the runway. Aviation and airline officials said the pilot of the Boeing 777 was landing at the San Francisco airport for the first time and tried to abort the landing after coming in too slow to set down safely.
