Officials continued their search on Sunday for the bodies of two children following the erruption of Mount Rokatenda, a volcano located on a small island in eastern Indonesia, the day prior.
The volcanic explosion sent ash and smoke nearly a mile into the air and killed six people, including three adults and two children. Officials stated that the age of the sixth victim killed was not known.
The eruption also forced nearly 3,000 people to evacuate the island, according to the national Disaster Mitigation Agency.
Mount Rokatenda has been rumbling since last October.
