Watch: Mispronunciation costs 'Wheel of Fortune' contestant chance to win $1 million

Paul Atkinson, a contestant on the game show “Wheel of Fortune,” had the chance to win one million dollars; all he had to do was solve the phrase. He attempted to solve the puzzle, which was "corner curio cabinet." He mistakenly said "Corno curo cabinet" and lost the money. Atkinson walked away from the game show with $2,000 for his efforts. He later told “Good Morning America” that it was his worst nightmare and he was really nervous at the time.

"I was nervous! I've got Pat freaking Sajak to my immediate right … I've got lights and cameras in my face. I'd never seen that word before," he said.
