Ernest Wallace, Lloyd murder case suspect, denied bond

A man who surrendered to Miramar, Fla., police on Friday and is connected with the Odin Lloyd murder case was denied bond this morning, according to a report.

The Sun-Sentinel reported that Ernest Wallace, 41, appeared before a judge Saturday morning and was denied bond.

Wallace's attorney said Friday that his client would waive any rendition proceedings and would return to Massachusetts to face charges in the case.

Former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is being held in the Bristol County jail after being charged Wednesday with first-degree murder and a number of weapons violations. A second suspect, Carlos Ortiz, was arrested earlier this week by Connecticut authorities and appeared in a Massachusetts court room on Friday.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. The New England Patriots have announced the release of tight end Aaron Hernandez following his arrest in the investigation of a homicide last week in North Attleboro, Mass.

The New England Patriots issued the following statement: A young man was murdered last week and we extend our sympathies to the family and friends who mourn his loss. Words cannot express the disappointment we feel knowing that one of our players was arrested as a result of this investigation. We realize that law enforcement investigations into this matter are ongoing. We support their efforts and respect the process. At this time, we believe this transaction is simply the right thing to do.

A report on WBZ-TV indicated that New England Patriots' tight end Aaron Hernandez visited his attorney's office today after he left Gillette Stadium at 12:15 p.m.
