In the vast history of baseball's first pitches, most are forgettable, some are catastrophic, and even fewer are astonishing.

This South Korean rhythmic gymnast topped the list of that final category when she pulled her acrobatic athleticism into baseball with a catapult-style wind-up and delivered the pitch with enough showy finesse to rival the pros.

Shin Soo-Ji competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and can now add to her athletic resume a first pitch to humble every first-pitch thrower from here on out.

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez made his first appearance in court shortly after he was arrested and charged with killing a friend, Odin Lloyd a few days after they got into a dispute at a nightclub.

In their first act as a married couple, Gary and Tracy Richardson led their wedding guests in a dance break.

After "you may now kiss the bride," but before a final prayer, the couple and their enthusiastic officiant danced to "Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)" by C+C Music Factory and "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang, and in the pews popped up and joined the choreographed dance.

The couple was married in Nottinghamshire, England.

A report on WBZ-TV indicated that New England Patriots' tight end Aaron Hernandez visited his attorney's office today after he left Gillette Stadium at 12:15 p.m.

Three-year-old Grayson Clamp was born deaf, but a new implant gave him the gift of hearing. The young boy’s reaction to hearing the voice of his dad, Len, was priceless. The toddler from Charlotte, N.C., heard his father’s voice for the very first time. "Daddy loves you," Grayson's father said.

The “TODAY” show says the first-of-its-kind procedure is called an auditory brainstem implant, and Grayson is the first child to receive this kind of implant.
