Patterns in key vote on gay marriage
The amendment sponsored by Rep. Philip Travis posed the most direct question to lawmakers in two days of debate on gay marriage. It called for amending the constitution to define marriage solely as the union of a man and a woman. The amendment did not call for civil unions. It was defeated 10394 last night.
