On a cold, rainy day in April 2007, Michael Hook-DiMarino picked up his brother's belongings from MCI-Cedar Junction and brought them home. It was four months since his brother, Glen Bourgeois, had hanged himself at the Walpole prison. It had taken numerous phone calls and letters to the Department of Correction and the filing of legal papers before the state agreed to release his personal items.
